Here's to Benjamin getting his throat slit in prison, because with his record that's where he's going.

My hope is that the legal system will do what's right and actually make him pay for the horrific act he committed.
Seems the judicial system doesn't understand the seriousness of this type of behavior. If his anger escalated that fast over something so trivial that he actually ran into the house and grabbed a knife and slit that poor dogs' throat, where else is this anger going to take him. I don't know his past record but I would bet that this anger has gotten him in trouble in the past. He needs to pay dearly for his actions. A simple 30 foot cable attached to a collar when the dog was let out would have prevented all of this. Dogs do what they do, young or old. It's up to us to protect them by the correct training and correct restraints.

What did this poor dog do that set him off to do such a horrific thing?

I am so happy this jerk was caught and will hopefully pay for his actions. This is not the first case of severe animal cruelty in MN this year. Please make a voice for these animals who are poorly treated and killed for no fault of their own. There are Humane Societies in almost every county in MN. There is no excuse!!!
