Actually Dave's position was that the wealthy do NOT have an obligation to help the poor, though they do have a responsibility. Obligation forces them to help, rendering help mandatory. Responsibility leaves the choice to help with them; hopefully they will. Obligation is something you impose, responsibility is something you embrace. Essays and audio at ; enjoy!
