From the final contestants Amanda Overmyer was my number one pick on every week out of everyone,m and I hate rock with a passion!!! For crying out loud she is singing songs that she never would otherwise. She does it with commitment, integrity, confidence, power and she is such a great full on singer with the most awesome voice and ability to work it and furthermore I can hear every word she sings so clearly which for many singers is rare. I'm a kiwi on the other side of the world and I'm 50 years old. The rest are just soooo boring compared to this real genuine songstress compared to the try hard made to look beautiful for TV weak voiced contestants. I have now lost interest in US Idol, only watched it to see what she could come up with next, there is just no way she should have lost and the only reason she did is because I doubt if any true rockers would even watch Idol only limp faced teenybopper city groupies.
