Schools gearing up for more Hispanics -- Demographics, Hampton ...

Some local school officials are already taking steps to accommodate future enrollment increases of Hispanic students, whose numbers are projected to swell in Virginia, according to a recent regional report.

It is sad the United States allows and makes accomadations for people to come here and change what has been in place for many years. If I were a visitor in your home I would not tell you how to change things to suit me I would adapt to your way. The Hispanics are taking over with the help of the government and nobody seems to be noticing it. If English is a second language to you then you need to go back where you came from. Maybe you should leave! It has nothing to do with legal or illegal. Anyone living and working in the United States should be able to read and write English. If not, go back where you came from. We should not make special accomendations for them. When I call the bank why do I first hear a spanish recording! ENGLISH ENGLISH. Learn ENGLISH or leave!!!!!!!!!!

Passing English courses are requirements to graduate from each grade in the Great United States! A "Second" language is that which is Not the official language of said country.

FYI: "Rules of the Road"...international transportation planes, ships, etc requires use of the English language.

btw: If I move to France, they are not going to spend the money to re-label Everything & reprint docs in English for me. It would be my job to learn that country's language.

Excellent. You explained it before I could.

It should also be noted that not all ESL classes are for individuals of Hispanic descent. Individuals from Europe, Africa and Asia are also included, were English is the second language they are learning (vs. what is spoken in their home). Also, a lot of these students then help their parents in learning to speak and understand English as well.
