Yes, and Bush got slammed for it all over the media. Kanye West said "Bush hates black people" for not responding fast enough after Katrina. Obama gets yet another FREE PASS for being a bad president. When are people going to stop making excuses for him?
Obama declare a federal Emergency prior to Jindal seeking any additional help that he wasn't yet qualified to receive.

Jindal had not spent a Ryan and the Republicans cut funding to in the $1 Trillion in Federal spending cuts.

Remember how the Republicans left the people in Alabama hanging last year after those tornadoes? Everyone in America remembers so I know you Romney/Ryan supporters remember, you demanded Spending Cuts and you got them.

So in the $1 Trillion in spending cuts that resulted in 600,000 public services employees loosing their jobs, are you suggesting that FEMA was spared budget cuts?
You are pathetic and a liar. But that's classic desperation similar to the desperate climate in 2008 before Obama stuffed his foot in your arses.
Romney ain't no Sarah Palin.......... ROFLMAO

Lawrence E. King, Jr., former Vice Chairman of Finance and Youth Advisor of National Black Republican Council (NBRC) of Omaha, Nebraska, sit at the pentacle and the eye of an elite blood oath pedophile and espionage ring that is cloaked, hidden behind smoked mirrors and the looking glass.[3]

NBRC is a sanctioned affiliate of the Republican National Committee. Within the circle and species of Black Republicans and the NBRC, King ran a secret child prostitution ring that serviced the political and business power elite of both Republican and Democratic parties.

King had been a very conservative, powerful and influential member of the National Republican Party. He had been appointed “Chairperson for the Black Voters” for the 1984 Republican National Reagan/Bush Presidential reelection campaign and “Chairmanship of the National Black Republican Council, Development Committee for Fund Raising.” He sang the National Anthem at the 1984 and 1988 Republican National Conventions.[4]

King also chaired the Council of Minority Americans, a nonprofit group that sponsored a $100,000 gala at the 1988 Republican convention in New Orleans. The host committee included former President Gerald Ford, Alexander Haig, and Jack Kemp. A ten-minute videotape featuring King and Jack Kemp, urging blacks to vote for George Bush, Sr., was shown at the gala.

King was also in charge of the Franklin Credit Union in Omaha. He was alleged to have operated a call-boy business in partnership with Harold Andersen, then publisher of the Omaha Herald, among many others. In 1987 he donated $25,350 to Citizens for America, an organization that arranged speaking tours around the country for Lt. Col. Oliver North of the National Security Council at the middle of Iran-Contra Scandal and CIA Crack Cocaine Trafficking in America.[5]

In 1988, federal authorities closed the Franklin Community Credit Union for investigation and mass theft, embezzlement, misappropriation and pillage of approximately $40 million.

What's the matter with Jindal? Can't he keep his state out of trouble?
Now he wants federal help, help from the federal government, the same federal government and all of its employees, that Jindal and all like-minded Republicans say they despise.
Louisiana's labor department is also asking the federal government for $3.4 million to pay unemployed state residents to help with cleanup work after Hurricane Isaac.
The Louisiana Workforce Commission said Monday that it has filed a REQUEST FOR AN EMERGENCY GRANT from the U.S. Department of Labor. The commission estimates the grant could pay salaries for about 450 people, along with career counseling and other work force assistance. Residents directly harmed by the storm would get priority for the work.
"We hate the government and all those who work in it, but we sure like the help they provide."
Talk about biting the hand that feeds you.
Hypocrisy at its rankest.
Now Gary, there are billions of dollars that were given to NOLA from before Bush was President and ewhen he was that somehow we don't know what happened to. I am sure the poiticians of New Orleans can tell us what happened to those earmarked dollars in which much of it was for the protection of the city. These questions were asked some years ago but you know,,,what they heyyyyy! Jindal is not a Progressive NOLA good old boy. But he shuts up knowing the stench of past political chicanery that is a hallmark of that area amongst others.

Don't blame anyone but yourselves for living somewhere that God created for rats and alligators. It's your own fault for getting flooded every few years ...why should the rest of us have to pay for your stupidity? Use your brain and move somewhere that isn't at risk for hurricanes and flooding!

They never do, this isn't breaking news. He's not going to Louisiana looking for votes. Just be happy he's bringing some attention to that corrupt swamp.
