A permit that allows the plant to release a certain amount of possible contaminated waste water as a by product of processing live birds for USDA food grade consumption.

No big deal. Many places like this have to do it all over the US.

yes, all the wastewater is kept in large tanks called clairifiers, and it goes thru different tanks that chemicals are added such as polymer to clot it, and ferrick cloride to make it drop. and areiators to break up carbon molecules. this process is suppose to clean the water, but if you take a sample at the rear of the plant at old river you will find that the water going into old river is probably causing pollution, but who cares about old river? not the city or the business, this waste treatment plant was built in 1979 and has done damage to old river since then.

is the new plant on by pass going to pollute our area also? if you ever pass by the plant in the morning and smell the dead chicken parts cooking, then I think we are going to smell like pineville soon as new feed mill opens.
