Jury told man speeding, intoxicated in 2011 fatal crash
A Denham Springs man was allegedly intoxicated and driving nearly 90 mph when his pickup slammed into a compact car on Greenwell Springs Road in 2011, killing the car's 16-year-old driver, two Louisiana State Police officials testified Wednesday.

It couldve happened alcohol or none. 90 mph or 45 mph you pull out in front of someone is a chance of someone getting killed. A train driver doesnt get convicted if you pull out in front of them and the person gets killed. Its a sad situation for both families. And jail time doesnt change or bring anyone back. But in ones loss eyes you want justice. Had the shoe been on the other foot and your prospectives change.
