You have to be carefull any place you rent. They make more money by spending as little as possible and never fixing anything. Pat said she had problems with the management company and could not get any thing fixed. Nothing has changed and Pat was not really any differentjust a scape goat.
I actually lived there

Normandy Village is not a wonderful place to live and anyone who thinks it is is as nuts as Pat Davis was. I never saw her at Cafe' American.

Office is always closed. It is a one person office but no one is ever there. I have never not gotten the answering machine.

Ive lived here a while and love it. Its quiet, safe and well kept. Its an old place so things do break and go out but in the 3 years ive been here everything has been fixed promptly.
If your looking to rent here, dont be scared by the comments. Come actually see the place and talk to some of the residents. Most here are just angry social outcasts who would complain anywhere they lived.

Place is a dump. Mike is a troll. Call the BBB and The Ag's office to see what realy goes on in ths place. Type in the address on google and see what comes up. It is a very bad place

This place was never a great place to live. One of the long term managers was bi polar. She would wonder around talking to herself and would spend time in tenents apartments. Things went missing. She was on the answering machine for some time after she left.
Never professionally managed. Never fixed anything. It is almost 50 years old facility and it has problems.
Had enough

Not only do they keep your deposit thay make up stories about you and put you on some sort of "Do not rent to list" that is viewed by other apartment manager so you are black balled.

Glad Pat went back to where ever she came from. Hope she is not working in the field any more. Understand they took her to jail at some point.
Glad I left this place

It is very old. There is a lot of doppers who live there. There is a lot of petty theft. They hire contractors who are not licensed, bonded or insured who have an F rating with the BBB. Staff is unprofessional. Check aroung before you move in and make sure you see the apartment you are renting and not someone elses apartment. They say it it near Bocage but is three blocks away from what used to be called mall city. There are a lot of car brake ins. Management did some really strange things.

Glad I ran across these comments!!! I visited the property about 1 yr. ago to view an occupied unit (her mother's apartment). Was not very impressed then, however, was contemplating on looking again and maybe considering renting here because of the area.
This just saved me plenty of stress. I've definitely crossed this place off my list!!

Been stuck at this slimdog trash apartments for almost 3 years now bc we can't find a reasonable priced place to rent. They don't show the apartment til you sign the lease, then it's too late. The ghetto manager who's ironically white has her weed smoking boyfriend all over the office hanging out and is never in the office. She ignores calls, really she told my husband she looks at the phone and hits the ignore button. They come in when they want. The previous maintenance guy robbed us. They can't keep a maintenance guy. The street light by our unit has been out since we moved here. The ghetto low life tenants bang their trashy cussing music all hours of the night. They sell drugs in the back. They speed. The kids hand out all day and night when they aren't in school unattended and bus glass bottles on the street. They steal walmart baskets and ride their bikes with it attached to a shoe string. There's a huge hole right by my driveway. No assigned parking so ppl park in front your door. When the neighbors smoke weed it comes through the vents. They can't keep tenants and don't make improvements but constantly raise the rent. They fix nothing but have the audacity to come in and tell you what you need to do. There isn't any space for anything or proper storage. The full bath is the size of a half bath. The toilets stay broke. They need to replace that 1970s bathroom counter. The sewage ALWAYS backs up. Run away from this death trap!!!!!!!! They JUST replaced that trashy deadly playground equipment in the back after raising the rent 4 times! I HATE THIS HELL HOLE!!!!!!!!!!
