This is for all you Teapublicans who worship at the Altar of Fox Fake News AND support Mitt Romney for President. You may have to choose between the two.

That must be why you're here, then...you need Adult Daycare. I feel sorry that you do, but I assure you, that is not the reason most of the rest of us are here, except the Scud Trolls, which the rest of us just have to tolerate, apparently, since they won't leave.

Mitt has changed his mind on the tax vs. penalty on the healthcare bill. He therefore perpetrated a huge tax on the citizens of Mass. Pity poor Mitt, if it's a tax, he loses and if it isn't....he loses ! Same situation applies to the entire ACA. Mitt is the father and wants the Federal Government to abort his baby, while arguing that it is the best thing since ice cubes, for the states.
I have been predicting for a long time that Mitt would be the Republican nominee and that the election would be won by a razor thin margin. I thought Mitt had a solid chance of beating Obama.
IF old Mitt doesn't come up with a campaign based on new plans and ideas on how to turn around the economy of this country, without reminding voters how many sides he has been on, in every issue....I may have to rethink my prediction.
This election is the Republicans to lose and Mitt is doing EVERYTHING in his power to see that they do.
"he wants the federal government to abort his baby"

I like that....

President Spend More than he takes in, is on the road:
WASHINGTON -- President Obama is barnstorming the heartland to boost US jobs in a taxpayer-financed luxury bus the government had custom built -- in Canada, The Post has learned.
The $1.1 million vehicle has been tricked out by the Secret Service with state-of-the-art security features and creature comforts.
It's a VIP H3-45 model, the company's top of the line, and is used by major traveling rock bands.
"That's the more luxurious model," Christine Garant of Prevost told The Post.
Obama's new ride is equipped to carry all the baggage a president needs -- including the "football" that allows him to remotely control US nuclear weapons.
There's electronic equipment allowing Obama to communicate and teleconference worldwide.
The president also has large flat-screen TV sets and comfortable couches.
There's a bathroom, but unlike on Air Force One, no sleeping area. Why would he sleep there, when he could hit up some rich dude for a place?
Only one problem. It’s made in CANADA!
Hilarious. For the little guy. Yeah, in other countries.

I put up all kinds of Links to have something to discuss, but nobody is in a talkative mood, I guess.:)

Was Robert E. Lee a coward?

He would order men to fight to the death but when it became time for him to fight he surrendered.

I am glad he wasn't at Bastogne!

I glad he wasn't at the battle of New Orleans!

I glad he wasen't at Omaha Beach no doubt this coward would surrender out country!

that's because nobody here gives 2 craps about anything you post.

I would rather dig my eyes out with a spoon or castrate myself with a blunt object than to have to see another one or your posts.

I would rather eat the entrails of a dead skunk that's been in the road for a week, or rip out my fingernails and pour acid all over the raw fingernail beds while someone shoved bamboo splinters in my eyes.

GET THE FRIKIN POINT YET?

robert E lee was a superior tactician......

superior to any of the northern generals.

he was the reason the south won ANY battles...

yet a superior mind also knows when he is whooped.

remeber picket??? and his suicidal charge at gettysburg??

well robert E lee did.

the union was bound to defeat the south.

it was a matter of resources..

just like in WW2.

general lee was smart to surrender at appamadox.

thank god the union WON and thank god the slaves were freed.

otherwise we might not have had the CSA(isolationists)
participating in WW1 or 2...

you see the problem??

united we stand!!

divided we wouldnt be quite the super power nation we are today.

Robert E Lee was all of the above butt he was always was on terrain that he knew well when he won
Stonewall jackson carried Lee. After Jackson death Lee was always on the defensive.

By your above post Lee should have surrendered after gettysburg it ws obvious they would loose. Lee never won an offensive battle ofter Jackson death.

At the Almo Lee would have surrendered because the situation was worse than when he did surrender. David Crockett fought to the death! Robert E Lee put up the yellow flag.. This is the man that ordered pickett charge a fatal mission for others but would not fight himself.

When Lee was on northern ground he lost becaus he lost his edge knot knowing the terrain very well like he did in Virginia.

See, proves my point. Oh, and I'm not staying. This is kind of like the freakshow at the fair. People stop to be horrified, but don't stay. Only the freaks have to stay. Goodbye.

Resources.

We had way more resources than the Koreans. Why did we not win?

We had way more resources than the North Vietnamese. Why did we not win?

We had way more resources than the Ahghan's. Why haven't we won?

I've seen the enemy, and they is us.

In the Korean Conflict, Vietnam War, Desert Storm and Afhanistan it is not an issue of resources but the method in which we fought or are fighting. The Military Leaders on the battle field have their hands tied (so to speak) by politicians with their own agendas.

Another Obama success story:
WASHINGTON —“U.S. employers added only 80,000 jobs in June, a third straight month of weak hiring that shows the economy is struggling three years after the recession ended.

The Labor Department said Friday that the unemployment rate was unchanged at 8.2 percent.

The economy has added just 75,000 jobs a month in the April-June quarter. That’s one-third of 226,000 a month created in the first quarter. Job creation is also trailing last year’s pace through the first six months of 2012.”

That’s the “Stimulus” still doing it’s job - destroying the country.

And of course,
“Stock futures fell modestly after the report came out.”

Of course, those are the Obama figures. The “adjusted” figures will be released in a couple of weeks, as they have for the last 30 months, and they are ALWAYS lower.

Of course, the Obama-loving media had to find some good news:

” There were some good signs in the report. The average work week grew to 34.5 hours from 34.4 in May, boosting many workers’ paychecks.”

Uh. Hello, media person. That’s 1/10th of an hour, or 75 CENTS for the average burger flipper job that Obama specializes in. Can we say you’re grasping at straws?

“And average hourly wages rose 6 cents to $23.50.”

A WHOPPING 6 CENTS! Here’s a straw.

“About one-third of the jobs gained in June were in temporary services.“

Oh, good. Obama’s economy is going to be made up of part timer’s and no benefits temporary help. Now THAT’S a strong recovery. Seems employers have figured out how to get around Obamacare. Just hire temps. In fact, you can get a new batch every three months.

“Manufacturing added 11,000, its ninth straight month of gains.

Yeahh!!! Manufacturing is back! Oh, no it’s not:

“But growth in factory jobs slowed sharply in the second quarter compared to the first.“

Healthcare!

“Health care added 13,000 jobs and financial services gained 5,000.”

Memo to the unemployed: Get into healthcare or Obama’s buddies on Wall Street.

“Retailers, and transportation firms cut jobs.”

Meaning that the MOVEMENT of goods is not going well. A REALLY bad sign.

But there was good news:

“government cut jobs.”

The parasites of the economy are getting to participate in the recession. That is a good sign.

This is a fantastic day for using your brain with precision and accuracy. For instance, it's great for filling in a complicated form or going through some complex paperwork because you'll find it easy to concentrate on what you're doing. It's especially good for paying attention to the sort of finicky details that you normally aren't interested in but which are right up your street.
