I have known the family for years now and this is so hard to believe. I have had a go around with Darren and never, not once did he seem capable of something like that. My condolences go out to his family, and to him.

if so, im looking for some answers. i was a friend of darren's in college at elim. and i spoke with him often during his house arrest while he was waiting for trial.
i only knew darren for a year. but i am aware of darren's tendancies. but im also aware of his heart. i cant bring myself to believe he did this. or that his parents would lie on the stand. so i am very confused. and especially if its a possibility that he didnt do this, i would like his contact info so i can write him a letter. either way, i think i would like to write him.

he was found guilty and was sentenced to 18 years in prison... sounds like he did it 2 me...
and most parents would do anything 2 keep there kid out of jail...including lying on the stand.

im not a big fan of our justice system here. so being convicted means nothing to me. i would just appreciate if someone-who is not a manipulator as i know darren can be-to tell me what happened.

why would the victim, a young teenager girl lie about what happened. she has nothing to gain from it whatsoever! not all "nice" guys are actually nice guys

ERIN... why do you call him a manipulator?? Although I have not known him as long as most,I have known him long enough. I would never think that of him. Why is your heart so cold, he has been an inspiration to me in so many ways I never thought possible. I don't think he did what he has been accused of, it's a shame that people do.
