Can't help but think that prison time is really not significant compared to what she has already experienced.

This is a picture of the wife of James Brady who lives in Crozet, VA and has absolutely no tie to the Crimora woman's story. Sheesh people

What are you talking about. She is/was not married to James Brady. Known the woman in the picture for 18 years.

Unless the picture has changed since Really posted, this is the same picture that has been used since the accident happened, The women do look very similar, but the picture shown here is Jessica Lewis, if previous pictures have been correct

Put the pictures side by side and you will see a difference. Augo wrote: " Can't help but think that prison time is really not significant compared to what she has already experienced." She went on with her life finding a new man, no job, no responsibilities. The Daughter, Ex-Husband, haven't had a chance to experience. In prison maybe she will learn about experiences.

Talk about a miscarriage of justice! No wonder folks still drink and drive. They know there won't be much of a punishment!

Everyone makes mistakes! Some worse than others all with different outcomes. This outcome was tragic, but Jessica is a good person and suffers daily. I think 2 years is fair. Amber and Mike made a choice to get in the car with Jessica just as Jessica made the decision to drive. Mistakes and bad choices made by not 1 but 3 people that ended in the death of 2. It was not Jessica's time to go in the eyes of God or she would also be gone. I hope when she gets out she will use this whole thing to help others.

She had no alcohol in her system. I challenge NBC29 to show the report that shows she had alcohol in her system. Was in the hospital with her and the ER doctor told her her alcohol was 0.0%.

Jessica was driving drunk and killed two people. She should get 15 years in prison! What the hell is wrong with our justice system? Breaking and entering gets more time than killing two people. wth? She did what she did and should be sent away! End of story!

What kind of good person tries to blame the victims? Oh, I know Jessica Lewis as she tried to do today. No she was not drunk, but was driving at an excessive rate of speed on a back road. If Mike and Amber were causing such a problem in the car why not pull over instead of flooring it? Because shes a good person remember. Wake up people she is not a good person and never has been. A good person doesnt kill 2 people and then go shack up with their cousin while out on bond. Jessica a good person, Ha! Not.

Two years is not enough . . . two lives are gone . . . Money and lawyers and a corrupt justice system reigns supreme . . . drunk drivers need to be taught a lesson. I bet she will be driving again once her pittance of a sentence is fulfilled.

I don't see Mike nor Amber as "Victims". Amber was under age and drinking and she partied hard and dabbled in drugs she was by no means a "good girl". Mike...where do you think Amber and Jessica got it from. I've known Mike and Jessica from the time they started dating and believe me one is no worse or better than the other. Who Jessica chooses to be with has nothing to do with what happened. She needs support right now something she sure never got from Mike. He cheated on her from the start. Her mistake was when she got away from him she should have stayed away! People can put Mike and Amber on a pedistole all they want but the fact is they are as guilty in this situation as Jessica.
No one is claiming they were perfect, but they sure did not deserve to die. You are a real ass to talk about the deceased with such contempt try turning some of that towards Jessica. Yes Amber was underage and drinking in Jessicas presences so since she is such a good mother why was this? What no answer for that one huh? Mike was wrong to allow Amber to drink also, but Jessica was the sober one remember so she is even guiltier than Mike. Amber was still a child and they make mistakes, but Jessica as a grown woman knew better.
