Been there a few times. The food and service is excellent. They will give you tour if you ask and tell you about the history of the place. Peter , the owner is always around. Making his guest feel right at home. I would definately recommend this place.

That's awesome! I have a vested interest in asking everyone -- my "little brother" is the executive chef. He's finally found The Job he loves, and I want it to work out for him!!

That's awesome to hear! He refuses to cook for the family when he's home, so I've only had his food once when he was executive chef at a place in Carmel. Thanks for helping to et the word out!!!!

I agree, kudos to your brother. He has nothing to be ashamed about. My daughter works there as a waitress. She met her boyfriend there. They both wait tables. Ive never seen her more happier. The two of them work so well together. They love their job and it shows. Hope you get the opportunity to visit your brother soon, and check the place out.I promise you wont be sorry you did.

Do me a favor and ask to be seated in Beth's section(tell her that her mother sent you) I promise she will take great care of you!

Went there Friday and the food was incredible. The atmosphere was excellent as well. Not your typical cheap/budget style menu, but a place of quality and value. Definitely a meal and service worth paying extra for.

I wish they had more vegetarian options listed or at least hinted at. I know at Ertel Winery you can ask them to remove any meat from just about any dish, for example a pasta dish without meat but more veeatables. Lack of options for vegetarians in one reason I rarely eat out anywhere anymore.

Go to their website or their FB page and suggest that. I know they'd at least consider it, because as much as my brother (the executive chef, James Bogart) is in it because he really just loves cooking high-quality meals, he and the owner are still businessmen. They've got bills to pay like the rest of us and need your business, too! Don't write Walhill off just yet.:)

Thanks for the suggestion, I will do that. I bet your brother would love to mix up some interesting non meat dishes.

My wife and I ate there a few weeks ago. Everything we had was fantastic. The soy ginger kabobs were delicious, the maki lobster sushi roll fabulous and the filet mignon was terrific. I highly suggest making out there for a visit..

They are now serving breakfast on Sunday mornings, and it is the best biscuits and gravy I have ever eaten. They also make really good grits. I haven't had any like since my Grandma was alive, and she was from deep south we all know they have really good grits.

My son (Nicholaus) is the Chef de Cusine @ Walhill. They have great food. He loves cooking for family & friends as well as @ the restaurant. Please make sure they are aware of your vegetarian request as well as (gluten) allergies. Sunday hours are10 am to 2 pm. Sunday menu is made to order. Try the shrimp and grits or the chicken and waffles. Bottomless Mimosas and make your own Bloody Mary Bar. Enjoy!!!
