Point of what? The non-Christian institution? Really the same as a Christian institution. It would be a place of worship and congregation.

Or perhaps you were asking about the objective of my question? I am very familiar with the Christian faith but not as familiar with others faiths. What better place to learn about those of other faiths then their place of worship.

Your question is redundant because the definition of "Church" is as follows:

church/CHərCH/
Noun:
A building used for public Christian worship.
A particular Christian organization, typically one with its own clergy, buildings, and distinctive doctrines.

Therefore, if it were "non-christian" then it would not be a church!

No. Also I asked about Batesville so it would stand to reason that I live closer to it.

While this definition is correct, there are still some institutions used by other religions that are referred to as a church. Regardless, I also included synagogue, mosque, and temple in my question and those are valid even in definition.

I'm going to bet no for one of two reasons, either none exist or they wish to avoid christian protesters. I would suggest watching YouTube or downloading copies of different religious texts that's what I do.

Well thank you. I think you are the most polite and helpful person that I have met on here. I have actually already looked at different religious websites, videos, and text, but I figured talking a listening to a person of that faith, like many things in life, would be the best way to learn and become familiar with that faith.

Thank you for your contribution.

Oh and if anyone else has a contribution feel free to post.

The place of worship does not have to be in this town. As long as it is not too far away then I will still consider going to it.

Thank you in advanced.

In Batesville you will only find christian churches. To the best of my knowledge, you would have to go to Little Rock to find non christian places of worship. They have synagogs, mosques, Greek Orthodox, which I believe is actually a christian church but the only one in the state. Jonesboro also has a mosque and a synagog. There are other religions around in the rural areas, menonites, but I believe they consider themselves christians. There are groups of pagens around but to my knowledge they do not have a formal meeting place. Thats all I know.

While disappointing, your post was helpful. Thank you.

I am curious as to where these pagan groups meet. I have heard a few discussing meeting but I have never heard anything regarding where, or when, the meeting actually takes place

Just bringing this back up to the top. Does anyone know where some of the pagan/Wiccan groups meet? Is it any where local?

This is true, to the best of my knowledge, but I don't see what it has to do with anything.

Anyone know where/when the pagan/Wiccan groups meet? Is it anywhere local?
