I wish intelligent people would start these discussions. So they cant put anything on the internet that isnt true. I hope your french model you met on the internet atleast has a matching fanny pack....BONJOUR.....Im sure if Topix or anykind of social media where around when all the other Presidents where elected these would of been some of the same discussions. Not everyone is going to like every President, thats a fact. I dont understand why people are mad about Obama Care. Atleast he is trying to help us that do have insurance to not have to pay for the ones who are to lazy to go get a job and then we have to pay for their medical bills through our taxes. Insurance premiums have always been high, well unless you have medicaid then its free....how about instead harping on all the bad things think about what we do have and are thankful for, like oh I dont know freedom. Do you think for a second that Obamas people were the only ones counting the votes, I dont imagine. Dont you think that if he was going to bring our country to pheasantry that he would of done it all in the first 4 year term. He had no idea he was going to win, oh wait the internet blogs said it was rigged, its got to be true right. He has ended more of the war than Bush did for the entire 8 years of his term. Bush made a killing in the war with all the gas he was selling in his gas company so why would he want it to end. Hes still making money off of this war. Obama might not do what you like but hes probably doing what someone else likes. No matter what he does anyone that holds the most important job of this country deserves respect regardless. So Im going to tell anyone who cares to listen, The United States Presidential Election is a open election, anyone can run for their chance so if you think you have what it takes and you think you can go in there and do better and make this country a Disneyland Wonderland then have at it. If not shut the crap up and if thats to hard for you to do then move to Iraq and then you will say well maybe he wasnt that bad...!!!!!!!

Your parents "fought" to protect you yet I am sure you "succeeded," or plan to, from them. You may not have like living with them, or, maybe, you just want to make it on your own. Either way it would be disrespectful to move out. Also, it would be disrespectful for these soldiers to fight for these people's freedoms only to turn around and deny them the freedom to leave peacefully.
Your argument is flawed and weak.

1) leaving your parents is the social norm/expectation therefore it is not disrespectful

2)wanting to leave this nation isnt the issue, they are free to leave. Wanting to not be a part of this nation, yet stay on its land and basically take property that belongs to the U.S. is.

Also, these people's beliefs do not match the state government's views either in all of these states. Should you let a minority rule over the majority? Certainly not.

As a parent you know when you bring that baby into the world that everything you fight and protect for them will end when they leave. The difference is that you raise and fight for them knowing that one day they will leave the nest. These soldiers didnt sign on with the knowledge that after years of slaughtered fellow soldiers and years of being away from their families that it would be for nothing because the ones that they are fighting for are not fighting for them. So that is not even a close comparison. I know that when I was in the army that if what i pledged to serve and protect decided one day that what I was serving and protecting wasnt worth them fighting for do you think for a second that I would of signed on..HELL NO....they have given up so much so we could feel safe at night with our families and now idiotic people are saying that they have cried, suffered, starved, bleed, buried, morned, missed and lost for nothing. Yep thats not unpatriotic at all. What do people think will happen to our troops in the war if this were to happen. We would have no government to speak of and they would be there with no direction or protection from our Government. The terrorist would pick them off one by one. They for sure would never let them leave that country alive and then would we still celebrate Veterans day and honor the POW that we caused their deaths because we decided that what they were fighting for wasnt worth figthing for on our end. So we would be leading them into a butcher shop. GOD BLESS OUR COUNTRY, TROOPS, TROOPS FAMILIES, OBAMA ADMINISTRATION, AND ANYONE WHO THINKS THAT THIS COUNTRY IS NOT WORTH BELIEVING

You do realize that's from Yahoo news, right? Certainly more credible than local Arkansas news stations and newspapers.

Either way, he's an article from the LA Times: http://www.latimes.com/news/politics/la-pn-wh...

I'm sure you'll find some reason to not believe that, either, but that's your problem. Now, go get that GED...

Nothing more than a symbolic gesture. Just like the votes of middle america. Forget the big picture, concentrate on taking care of your own. Time will come when all you have is your family, and friends to depend on....that and your Bible and your guns. ;-)
