Hubbard is a RETARD

Democrats are typically painted as being LIBERAL

Guess what, Hubbard knows JackShyt about the political spectrum - Hitler and the Nazis were CONSERVATIVE, or as I like to say REICH WING !

Well, that's interesting. Because wasn't it the GOP that has actually spoken out against him (even taken action) the most? I wonder if he thinks they are Nazis too.

Seriously, check your news folks, especially "bunch of idiots". The primary complaints against him initially, and the larger ones now, are lead by the Arkansas GOP and not Democrats.

So bias away.

Guess what, we'd STILL be in this mess even if McCain/Palin had won it. AND we'd be in a war in Syria now too.

Considering the fact that Hubbard is a mental midget, it certainly shouldn't surprise anyone that he takes recourse in "Nazi" and "Hitler" accusations, a cheap and infantile form of political rhetoric. His whines about usurpation of freedom of speech demonstrate a lack of understanding regarding constitutional matters--at no point did anyone suggest that he wasn't free to write his childish letters to the editor or to flaunt a veneer of Christianity for political purposes.

No one cares if you're a "frustrated conservative", Jon. The concern is that both of those conditions disqualify you from holding elected office--at least among rational, reflective, and moral voters. Our citizenry needs someone who's a pubic servant, not a reactionary whose frustrations and impaired thinking jeopardize the common good.

Hubbard is trash. We need to get serious about our state and the important responsibilities elected officials have in improving the quality of life and helping Arkansas to progress. There will be no advancement of our state as long as we continue to elect low-caliber people such as these two dullards, Hubbard and Fuqua.

Arkansas continues to rank near the bottom in many things in which it could be excelling. That's a consequence of electing fools rather than people with insight.

LOL! I was just reading some of the Amazon customer reviews about racist politician Jon Hubbard's self-published "Letters to the Editor: Confessions of a Frustrated Conservative." One of my favorites: "This book thus combines an amateur's writing with an eighteenth century worldview, a truly remarkable achievement. It should be savored like the finer things of this life, including Boone's Farm apple wine or Spam."

All 1-star ratings; the few 5-star ratings were by customers making jokes.

It's bad enough that we have people like Hubbard embarrassing our state, but do we have to embarrass ourselves by electing them to office?

I just read his introductory paragraph on "Race Relations" on the digital sample copy on Amazon. He concludes the paragraph by suddenly introducing the non sequitur of "entitlement programs." How do entitlements possibly relate to race relations, unless the concept "entitlements" is simply used as divisive rhetoric by racist conservative politicians in order to energize their dopey social conservative supporters. A larger percentage of whites in Arkansas are on public assistance than are blacks. Jon Hubbard doesn't even know his own state, and yet he's allowed to masquerade as a congressman.

Yes, absolutely! Hubbard is a right-wing crank, and his comment about Nazis and Hitler do nothing but damage Arkansas and jeopardize our state's economic development. We need to be represented by someone with progressive views, intellect, and the ability to promote the state. Hubbard is an embarrassment, and a dangerous one at that.
