Batavia may turn over water, sewer to county Comments Barrett J. Brunsman [email protected] BATAVIA - Turning over operation of its water and sewer systems to Clermont County could save Batavia residents millions of dollars and reduce pollution to a scenic river, officials said.

Please turn it over to the county! That little plant smells terrible all summer long. The county has a big plant at the end of Haskell lane, that could easily Handel the flow from Batavia. Not to mention the Batavia plant is an old outdated eye sore, that on a regular basis bypasses untreated sewage into the river.
