I absolutely hate this place, the office people are great the residents can not keep control over their kids, they run all hours of the night. The price is cheap but you most definitely get what you pay for.

I feel for you in the respect that it really is a bad position to be in to hate where you live. The office staff here are, very nice. I do think however, you may want to choose your words more wisely in the future. I have children, live here, and can gaurantee you, that my children are not running anywhere at all hours of the night. That type of blanket statement is not at all fair to those of us that have reasonable control of our children and happen to be good parents and neighbors.
You could have said some of the residents and I would not feel as if you were attacking me personally with your statement. Just for your information some of us take parenting as the most important job we will ever have in our lives. When you make a statement like that you are in fact accusing all of your neighbors of being neglegent parents. Shame on you. It is not everyones fault that you are pissed off about where you live. Hope you get to move soon!!!!

I would have to agree with "A Resident". The kids here run rampant, most will little or no supervision. You can drive through the apartment complex about 4 or 5 p.m. everyday and you will see about 100 kids running around. They destroy your cars, steal your kids things, fight with other kids and like I said most without any supervision. Do not try to sleep, that is impossible. You get written up for stupid crap, like your kid hit the building with a ball, but yet the teenagers can throw beer bottles, try to break in others cars, and run around all hours of the night and nothing is every said, not matter how much you complain. I really hate it here, one year is all we can take, we are headed out. Thank god it's almost over. Here are things you should do before you move here.

1) drive through at about 4-5 p.m.
2) if you view an apartment, check every nook and cranny for bed bugs, especially the ceiling corners.
3) stop and talk to a few people, to see how they like it. Most will tell you to run at all cost.
I dont think so

All of you have stated that the management are "great" , I can tell you that if you are having all of these problems , your "management "people, are NOT "great". They are neglecting to do their jobs. Management is supposed to enforce the rules therefore making the community asafe and nice place to live. I would suggest you get a petition up demanding that the rules are enforced and send it to their superiors.

I have to agree with Erica she is so right... And is you ain't dodging kids in the parking lot your dodging the potholes in the parking lot... All management does is take your money and if you have a complaint they say put it in writing and that is all that gets done... And if you need maintainance goodluck there might get something done in a week or two... Not a very good place to live. Sad but true.

I would have to agree with "Erica" "LOL" and "the resident"!! What they are all saying is so true. With the exception of maintenance, I never had a problem getting anything fixed in a timely manner. I would also have to agree that the office ladies are nice, but they do lack discipline within the complex. I just moved out of there after only on year, and I went running. The kids are awful, many of the kids are running around with no parents, I am talking four and five year old's, using profanity if you try and talk to them. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy, if they needed a place to live! However, there are new owners so maybe some things will change. But for now if you plan on living here, be prepared to hear kids all day and all hours of the night, people speeding through the complex with no respect or concern for those kids out playing. A suggestion would be to look somewhere else, I am in my new place, where I can sit on the patio and hear nothing but peace and quite... Best of luck...

Whatever you do , NEVER rent at Batavia Meadows!!!
The owners are Doctors and tell anyone that knows this to not let anyone there know it. Bedbugs, NOTHING ever gets repaired. Manager receives SSI, food stamps metropolitan housing and medical assistance but, receives pay "under the table", therefore the owner is committing fraud also. OMG I could write a book!!
