They have credible information that there could be some sort of gang initiation this evening that could include purposely striking vehicles from behind.

This is seriously ridiculous what WNY is coming to! I can't believe police arent out there arresting people in these gangs to try and prevent this! I have a 1yr old daughter and cant even go out because im to scared to! We need to do something!

I believe that they are talking about ms13 or a similar hispanic gang, the history channel has a show called gangland and they had an episode on ms13 and other hispanic gangs, some scary stuff! From what I hear this is a huge problem down in DC/Northern Virginia, if the police do in face have credible information than everyone needs to be concerned, because unlike black gangs that tend to stay relatively within their "turf" these hispanic gangs do not care where they are, and in face actively recruit in areas outside the normal "gang" areas. Hopefuly the law enforcement in this area can squash this while its still in the infancy stages, if not than I fear for our region.

How can someone assume its a Hispanic gang and post a comment that blacks stay in their own area. Get real! A gang is a gang, not one is less dangerous than the other, regardless of who is in it. These days there is no one nationality gang. They are made of all races mixed together. What happened to the days when the police walked the beat, socialized with the youth and cared about the neighborhoods in which they patrolled.
