What's funny, yet pathetic is that Perry's on the road campaigning and, because he's babbled over and over about how much he hates FEMA and the federal government, and how little Texas needs federal assistance, he can't/won't ask for federal help. He's left it to his lieutenant Governor to ask for help, and needless to say, the Obama administration is not rushing to provide further help (they actually made a temporary declaration of disaster a few months ago when these fires started).

People down there are actually asking where Perry is and why the Feds aren't helping. That spirit of secession's fading pretty darn fast....lol

Progress is being made "on the ground" against the wild fires?

Where else would it be likely to be made?
Somewhere up in the air?
Say, at 25,000 feet?

And where is Governor Perry? How come he ain't
just a prayin' fer some rain? I thought he was
a real prayin' man. Or does he have to have a
whole passel of media people there takin' video?
Perry's a godly man, especially when the cameras are on him.

I feel for the citizens of Texas who have seen their homes go up in smoke. God must have some really strong grudge against Texas. The people ain't done no wrong, but that slick talkin' governor is about useless.

My advise? Get rid of the creep and pronto.

Good one! The libs have a nasty habit of turning all bad situations into a conservatives fault. What does Perry being there have to do with it? Do they expect him to pick up a fire hose and take care of the problem himself? If he did, they'd be filing a grievance because he's taking work away from a union member.

Good one rapture most of the fire fighters in Texas are volunteers’ The State of Texas is a right to work law State. See what happens when you’re on that political agenda. Question do you have any knowledge about anything? A good leader would have been there to support the troops.

People at press conferences given by the lieutenant governor, asstoy:

http://www.newsmax.com/US/Perry-Wildfires/201...

And that's in NEWSMAX, which you'd expect to adore Gov. Goofball.

Sheeit, so many people down there are asking "Where's Perry?" you'd think you were in an episode of 'Phineas and Ferb....' LOL

Nice gay reference, incidentally. Have you come out yet?

I was just reporting the news from Texas as I read it online, clown. Maybe if you sought accurate information instead of ranting insanely about "libs," you'd have KNOWN that.

Oh, so they do it out of the goodness of their hearts. Wow! All that schooling, and training, and dangerous work, and long hours, and interrupted meals, etc... all to volunteer to fight fires. How do they fit all that around their day jobs?

Do you know what volunteer means?

You are STUPID.

The term "volunteer" may also be used in reference to a group of part-time or on-call firefighters who may have other occupations when not engaged in occasional firefighting. Although they may have "volunteered" to become members, and to respond to the call for help, they are not compensated as employees during the time they are responding to or attending an emergency scene, and possibly even for training drills. An on-call firefighter would probably be expected to volunteer time for other non-emergency duties as well (training, fundraising, equipment maintenance, etc.)

Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) is a type of atomic emission spectroscopy which uses a highly energetic laser pulse as the excitation source. The laser is focused to form a plasma, which atomizes and excites.
You are STUPID.
Stay away from those laser- induced breakdown spectroscopy devises your killing the last two brain cells left in that little peanut head of yours.

Well Harvey when you’re looking for free entertainment or just plain have nothing to do visit some of the topics the rapture posts to and see for your self why it won the box of rocks award. Now, that title was taken from tina commonly known as TWISTY THE BOX’S OF ROCKS. But hay this still a free AMERICA and the rapture can pursue what ever it wants to accomplish. Let’s see that would be a life of assumptions’ when referring to the rapture lower case type works well.

LMAO!!!!!!
You are the one that is STUPID. A volunteer firefighter DOES get compensated as employees from the moment they respond to the call, AND for any additional training they may do.

Sorry to burst your little bubble head, Doc, but my 'other half' IS/was a firefighter/paramedic for over 25 years. Retired due to medical reasons as of 2 years now, but he was also a volunteer firefighter for a number of years before his department went full time.

Rebuttal to what?
Rick Perry and George Bush are/were expected to be on the scene all the time; but Obama can go on vacation and do his work by telephone. Double standards, and what I was pointing out. Guess you didn't get it.
