Did Johnny Robertson lie on television a few weeks ago?

I happened to stop by the local destroy faith TV station and saw John showing video of reporters chasing a political figure trying to get an answer to a question and then suddenly a video of him chasing someone in Walmart parking lot came up and he made the statement to the effect that he "Inadvertently" put the clip in, inadvertently means you accidentally did it, however the point of the clip was to show he was doing the same things reporters were doing that people applauded to justify himself once again to the viewers.

So since the video clips would have been pointless without the video of him, how can he claim it was inadvertent?

in·ad·ver·tent (ĭn′&#6 01;d-vūr′tnt)
adj.
1. Not duly attentive.
2. Marked by unintentional lack of care.

So if he knowingly put the clip into the mix and stated it was inadvertent is that not a lie? And if not what is to a Church of Christ member? This was maybe a couple of weeks ago.

So I take it the Churches of Christ are ok with one of their Preachers doing this, but I already knew that, but more importantly nobody else saw it, and that in itself is good news!

You mean the churches of Christ would rather this tread disappear as they always do when caught in sin. And the rest of the community didn't see the show or were in John's spell and didn't pick up on the lie?

Wow apparently none of the members of John's church watches his programs anymore either. Since none of the Church of Christ crew have responded to defend their glorious leaders lie.

Do liars get into heaven John? I know you read the threads even when you are to afraid to answer in them.

no one would believe walking in hate knows the truth or can recognize a lie. Is denominationalizing the Lord's body truth or error? WIH what say ye. Does it matter if you sprinkle and call it baptize? Baptist say it is a lie but it really doesnt matter since baptism means nothing to them even though they wear it as a badge. Funny how these "truth lovers" are so confused

Not any I've ever been connected with. Each congregation is independent unless it's a mission work under the oversight of elders from another congregation. Johnny needs to be transparent and tell folks who the supporting congregation eldership is. That way, if there are complaints, they could be made to the eldership for their oversight and action if they believe it warranted.

I'll bet Johnny won't let that cat out of the bag.

Someone should attend his Church enough to attend one of the required business meetings that covers finances and see who they are.

Then you might get somewhere.

Acts 3:22,23. If you are not abiding In His word you and those you teach will be cut off. Not many should be teachers - and the fact is that unless you are His disciple indeed, you don't know the truth. CoC drops the ball half way through the great commission.

Why not believe and teach the whole thing Johnny?

Exactly what is a "required business meeting" Barnsweb? I've never met Johnny or you but I am a member of the Body living in Ohio. I think the "required business meeting" you are talking about is one that is required because your congregation is "incorporated" by the state of Ohio. If that is the case then you should be ashamed of yourselves for turning over the sovereignty of the Lord's church to the state. From what I've seen of Johnny on the internet I think he faces just as many problems from the false churches of Christ as he does from the baptists. By the way, if I'm not mistaken the state of Virginia does not allow churches to become incorporated.

John, John, john, lets see, Baptism is for remission of sins, baptism is full immersion under water, signifying Christ's burial and the death of our old selves, truth or a lie John?

But John changing the subject won't get you out of this. Are you willing to double down and lie to this forum and say you did not claim you inadvertently added your video to the news videos you were showing in that show?

Or are you going to admit you lied to the viewers by using a term that suggests it was an accident or mistake that your video of you stalking someone in the Walmart parking lot pretending to be media was added on purpose!

I realize you are not used to being held accountable for your actions and that your faithful worshipers are unable to see your sins, so I understand your anger and being upset! I'm sure it's the same anger you have had with elders who have tried to moderate your abuse of others!

But am I your enemy because I tell you the truth?

States may vary. When a congregation doesn't have Elders, then there is a general meeting of the male members to conduct business - often monthly, but minimally annually. I've been a member from NJ to CA and many places between. I don't doubt what you say may be true for a given State, but it hasn't been my experience.

I have no trust in the CoC, as they have so much false doctrine and bow the knee to Paul, of all liars, and I really don't honestly care about your opinion either. Sorry.
