Heath is all over Topix in different towns. Try his current town of Royse City, Texas.

Bobby got upset with us Catholics not wanting to argue bible verses because with Sola Scriptura everysbody is right and we wanted to discuss history.

Why history? Can a person come to God by reading the bible? If so, obviously, I do not need a history lesson.

Somebody has to teach them first. A book is not self teaching and the book did not exist for 350 years after Jesus.

Add to that the fact that only 10% of the people could read and it took many years and a flock of sheep to create one Bible until around 1500.

Therefore you need a history lesson. Jesus created a church not a book

The Republic - Parable of the Cave.

Most people's reality is facing the wall of the cave as they watch the shadows dance along. When shown the real light of the world, they go back into the cave because the light is too bright for them.

What about the OT scriptures. You want to take credit for those as well. Did not Jesus point people to the Old Testament? Many read the OT. I hate to burst burst your bubble but those who can - can make sense of what they read. Can you not pick up the Bible and read it? Do you need a pope to explain to you every verse? There is also history that shows popes disagreeing on scripture. So much for asking a pope.

The meaning of scripture was decided 2000 years ago.

Do you seriously believe you have something new to add?

Is Heath the person that always had the "One Worders"?

You would ask him a question and he would type one word that made no sense at all. He would post comments that only had one word that also made no sense to me.

You totally did not answer my post. Jesus pointed people to read and kow scripture of the Old Testement, even said "some" didnt understand it. I guess they needed a pope or something. Oh, your popes have not always agreed so take that to the bank and cash it. You have nothing Mike. You harp on things that mean nothing when you look at the big picture and not just a few so called facts. The big picture has your popes disagreeing. Im done with you because you are didhonest. Take your pope and stuff up the road Im out.

The Popes have never disagreed on the issues of morals and faith

Hey. Only 5% of the people could read in Jesus time.

Jews were taught the OT orally. The OT wAs not in book form.

In fact god said how can someone understand scripture without help.

Don't remAin ignorant of history your whole life.

Out of those supposed 5 %[ guess you were living back then ] could the 95% HEAR the the 5% read to them from scrolls? Let me guess. The 5 % had to also explain to them what they had HEARD. Keep it coming Mike. You are one funny dude. Jesus over and over pointed people back to scripture. He not once elduded to popes

Popes have disagreed....thus they are not the go-to person. Get real.

lets test you Mike.

What does this verse mean if you READ it or someone reads it to you

Ephesians 4:29
"Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen."

Were you able to understand it? Or did you have to call the pope or some father to explain what this says.

Show me once where Jesus prophesied the New Testament and that a book was coming to be your sole guide to salvation.

Impossible task for you. He started a Church. Never mentioned a book and the only thing he wrote was something in the mud with his spit.

Think about it. He was God. He could have witten a book in 2 seconds that everybody could read and everybody would get the same answer from reading it.

He didn't do that, did he? He did something better. he started a Church he promised would never fail and it hasn't.

Your belief system started in the 1800s and you believe what you believe because of what your parents taught you and some preacher man.

Bizarre.

Aftr you address the above do tell where God said he would provide an Old Testement. You know, the one Jesus would read from scrolls.
