Too much we hear the Left-footers refer to >>> THE CHURCH <<< as the Pillar and ground of truth.!!! Tim. 3:15 !!!

This be true biblically but not as the Catholic makes its to be. If you pay attention to their speech they often imply that >>> THE CHURCH <<< is an organization apart from other believers. Not so!!!

In the bible we find this,

>>> The authority is not in the church, but in Christ (Matt. 28:18; 1 Pet. 3:22) <<<

>>> The church is not the Savior, but simply the BODY OF THE SAVED (Acts2:46; Eph. 5:22-24) <<<

The >>> C H U R C H <<< is the body of >>> A L L <<< saved persons.

The responsibility of the Church >>> body of the saved <<< is simply to follow, defend and proclaim the truth which be already revealed.

Moreover, the authority is not in the body, but in the Head (Eph. 1:22-23; Col. 1:18). The ruling is not in the kingdom, but in the King (Heb. 7:1-2; Rev. 1:5-6).

Catholics wish to take our Lord’s place of authority even place Mary as sinless co-redeemer who sits in heaven answering our prayers. What perversion of the truth!!

The term >>> pillar and ground of truth <<< does not mean that >>> the church <<< is the originator of truth, or that it can make or change the laws of God.

It simply means that it is the >>> upholder <<<, >>> defender and proclaimer of revealed truth <<<

The apostles often praised churches for proclaiming the truth, "for from you the word of the Lord has been spread abroad" (1 Thess.1:8).

They commended them for defending the truth, "partakers with me...in the defense and confirmation of the gospel" (Phil. 1:7).

There is not a single verse in all of the bible which indicates that the church has the authority to originate truth or to decree laws for God. The fact that the Catholic church has done so without authority gives proof that it be a false church and one at all cost we should avoid. The great whore of Satan has perverted the truth of God’s word and with it has men as Mike pimping her out.

Calvin. Who taught you all of this?

Did they teach you the history of the Bible and why it was written? How it was physically made and how errors in the copies crept in over 1000 years by the Catholic Monks who created all the Bibles between AD 400 when the first one was made and the the year 1470 when the printing press was made.

Did you know at the time of Jesus only 5% of the world could read and that had not improved much to only 10% in 1470?

Don't you think Jesus was pretty smart that he didn't create a book and created a Church instead.?.

Jesus said, >>> IT IS WRITTEN <<<

Paul speaks of READING of letters

The letters were sent out and read to Churches.

Yes I am aware of all you said above and I am aware that your history is not in line with the bible.

Was the Jews word of God a smart thing from Job forward? How dare God permit that hehehe. You amaze me with your unsound logic.

Calvin, I cannot accept full blown Calvinism, but at least we are on the same page when it comes to grace-I think.

I always wonder if we have some of the same people taking on a new role/doctrine just to stir things up- it has happened on here several times.

There was a friend of Heath who come on here as a coc preacher. When he started having trouble in the debates he took on the name of satan and began to place curses on us;-)

I accept things as I understand them. This is best I can do. This I do without a pope telling me. I don’t pray to Mary and no she is not sinless as said on here by Mike of Dave.

I am lost on stirring things and a new role and heath and a preacher called Satan. I am confused by this from you.

That is not the best you can do. That is the best you choose to do. You don't want anybody teaching you but yourself. " Lord, you are my savior but its going to be on my own terms?

It is not your fault you were born into a heretic family. The church teaches that. If you are baptized correctly and don't die in a state of mortal sin you have a chance.

Name one sin Blessed Mary committed. The Bible says she is full of grace. That means she has so much grace there is no room for sin.

BTW: I notice you dont follow the Bible. The Bible explicitly says to call her Blessed. Why don't you do that?

Full of grace does not mean she was without sin.

The statement from you >>> If you are baptized correctly and don't die in a state of mortal sin you have a chance <<< what nonsense and no basis at all from the bible for this

If you are an honest poster, don't worry about it:-)

Our faith is rewarded in the end.

8 and though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, 9obtaining as the outcome of your faith the salvation of your souls. 10As to this salvation, the prophets who prophesied of the grace that would come to you made careful searches and inquiries,…

Peter said that, not the pope. So we are standing on firm ground.

Peter was the head of the Church when he said that. History proves this. Jesus said he would build his church on Rock , formerly known as Simon.

The other Apostles new this and 2000 years later Christians still know this.

Ugg. Here we go again. I'm not a catholic and don't believe Mary was sinless. Catholics make more sense sometimes.

Catholics makes less sense. How can they make sense. Nothing about the Left-footers makes sense. They are a false Church.

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Name one sin Blessed Mary committed.

God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

That is not in reference to Mary _it is Jesus.. So if ALL have sinned. then so has MARY !!!

What’s in a name? According to Scripture, quite a lot.

St. Luke uses the perfect passive participle, kekaritomene, as his "name" for Mary. This word literally means "she who has been graced" in a completed sense. This verbal adjective, "graced," is not just describing a simple past action. Greek has another tense for that. The perfect tense is used to indicate that an action has been completed in the past resulting in a present state of being. "Full of grace" is Mary’s name. So what does it tell us about Mary? Well, the average Christian is not completed in grace and in a permanent sense (see Phil. 3:8-12). But according to the angel, Mary is. You and I sin, not because of grace, but because of a lack of grace, or a lack of our cooperation with grace, in our lives. This greeting of the angel is one clue into the unique character and calling of the Mother of God. Only Mary is given the name "full of grace" and in the perfect tense, indicating that this permanent state of Mary was completed.

Smoke screen, nothing in Phil. 3:8-12 says anything about Mary-it is as different as an apple is from an orange. Also we see the word grace very differently.

>>> Kechari tomene <<< means the one who God has given grace, to give undue favor.

>>> Only sinful people need God's grace <<<

This refers to one who is a recipient of God's favor, not the source of grace.

Why don’t you mention the root word for grace Charitoo in Ephesians 1:6. I bet when it comes to eternal security you will not apply grace as >>>completed in the past resulting in a present state of being <<<

It reads thusly,

• eípen Chaíre kecharitooménee ho Kúrios metá soú

translated it says,

• Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee

Mike what does Gen 3:16 say about a judgment on the sinner women.

>>> To the woman he said, I will make your pains in childbearing very severe; with painful labor you will give birth to children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you <<<

As you know, Catholics say Mary is the woman of Revelation 12

Mike, Revelation 12 describe her with birth pains

Birth pains were a judgment upon sinners. So much for Mary not being a sinner.

Sorry what you think the Bible means is is irrelevant. Just another one of tens of thousands

Your beliefs will die with you. The Church will be here until Jesus returns
