<quoted text>Mike you are very biased in your opinion and as most Catholics, not objective at all when it comes to the truth. However these Christian apologists see it quite differently. They point out some major problems for your claim.
Church Fathers
Did the Church fathers recognized the Apocrypha as being Scripture? Roman Catholics strongly appeal to Church history but we don't find a unanimous consensus on the Apocrypha. Jerome (340-420) who translated the Latin Vulgate which is used by the RC church, rejected the Apocrypha since he believed that the Jews recognized and established the proper canon of the Old Testament. Remember, the Christian Church built upon that recognition. Also, Josephus the famous Jewish historian of the First Century never mentioned the Apocrypha as being part of the canon either. In addition, "Early church fathers like Origen, Cyril of Jerusalem, Athanasius, and the great Roman Catholic translator Jerome spoke out against the Apocrypha."2 So, we should not conclude that the Church fathers unanimously affirmed the Apocrypha. They didn't.
Once again you know nothing. Catholics throughout history always disagreed personally about things. They disagreed on what books were going to make up the NT for example . But the council reached the decision.

Jesus knew men. That's why he set up the Church with Authority. The Councils and Popes made the decisions and everyone agreed.

If you didn't agree with the Councils you were considered anathema.

They didn't start a new Church like the Protesters do today. Don't like what the preacher says. Start your own Church.

Now if the Church or the members are really of Christ, in Christ and believe Him, there wouldn't be messages of constant wrangling back and forth over authority and truth. The Church started where the apostles preached and witnessed to the Messiah and truth of His coming and fulfillment of the Set Apart Scriptures.

They went to different areas. Peter went East, not West or North - which is where Rome was from Jerusalem. How the RCC pretends to Peter in Rome is odd, as the NT has him in the east at Babylon, doesn't it?

The apostles job was to make disciples of Y'shua, immerse them in His name, and teach them whatever He had first commanded and taught them. What is hard to understand about that?

The only 'hard' part is to repent to do what He said and to stop trusting in ourselves or what other men say who pretend to have come in His name, but teach false doctrine. True doctrine is to abide in whatever He said, as told by the HS enabled original disciples who were with Him from the beginning.

Why keep believing liars when we can trust in God and His Apostle from heaven?

This is very typical of the methods Catholics use. Power is what your church is about. This is a nursery rhyme and has nothing to do with the mother of Jesus. Leave it to the Catholics to try to take control and change the meaning (which was a real little girl and a lamb) and distort it into one of their theological false teachings. BTW(take a deep breath)although God given, is recommended by heath practitioners to help with stress, without any reference or hidden meaning to our church whatsoever. Typical Catholic false accusations, while at the same time with your altar boy scandals and claim that the Pope is Christ, you do not consider your actions as making fun of the church. Go figure. With meditation upon that point alone anyone can conclude what the Catholic church really is.

You are living in a make believe world. Today the problem with the Catholic church is that most Catholics know the church is teaching and doing ungodly things. Any church that spends billions of dollars hiding the fact that their priests are pedophiles and still pretending to be the one true church and that it never happened is not the church of Christ. Read 1 Corinthians chapter 5 for a little insight on the real church. The Catholic church makes those i chapter 5 look like saints in comparison. And yet you Catholics have your sheeples so brainwashed they are afraid to leave the church physically but have left it spiritually long ago. Your teaching is nothing but straight power control straight out of the Catholic play book. Most Catholics do not believe the churches teaching because they know it is false. Look at the mess the Catholic politicians in this country have made.

As usual the Catholics twist everything to make them in control. Not impossible for Catholics to be the church founded by Pope Paul, lol. Supremacy goes with Peter, after all proving Paul is an apostle is a challenge in itself. Easy choice for a church determined to be top dog with an attitude of "bow and kiss my ring the rest of you peon bishops".

My teaching?. It is Jesus' teaching. He started a Church which he promised evil would not prevail. He created a Kingdom, not a democracy. Americans especially have a hard time with Authority.

Of course he has not let it fail from sinners in the Church, invading armies and Protesters.

2,000 years old. The oldest living organization in the history of the world. Only God could do that.

All politicians have made this country what it is. A Protestant Supreme Court made baby killing the law of the land.

Protestant preachers in the South, preached just over a hundred years ago that owning people as slaves was not a sin letting Politicians freely create a war killing 600,000 thousand Americans over that.

Would you compare pedophilia which all Churches have a problem with
the death of over 600,000 Americans dying just to keep black people slaves.

You brought up your little nursery rhyme putting down the Mother of Jesus.

But did not Blessed Mary have Jesus, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of World

Pedophile priests and protestant pastors all will have their judgement day.

God's Church will continue on until the end of ages.

Protestantism is in it's death throes. Why, it is man made with no authority.

Your fist sentence is completely false as is your last sentence. The authority lies in the head of the church which is Jesus not the Pope or Mary both of which the Catholics spend more time worshiping. If Jesus places Protestants into the church and only Jesus alone can do that, who are you Catholics to say Protestants are not part of the church of Christ? You seem so accepting of Muslims and atheists but deny those that look to Jesus. Does that tell anyone about this church?

Because even the Apostles had disagreements. To circumscribe or not. They brought it the Church. The Council of Jerusalem made the infallible decision. Circumcision was not necessary. There was no Bible and Jesus was not physically present. The Church spoke for Jesus. They heard the Church , thus they heard Jesus.

What about Messianic Jews? Do you agree with the Church council on circumcision. I know you agree with the Church council on the canonization of the NT

Exactly how Jesus drew it up and how it has been done for 2000 years.

All other non Catholics decide personally on their own. 40,000 churches and growing daily.

Who did Y'shua teach was to have the authority over His Church while He returned to heaven to prepare a place for those who are His? Did He leave a succession of Peter's in charge of the most precious treasure He has on earth? Can you please point to where He taught that?

When God called Israel out of Egypt He put Moses in charge. When Moses was about to leave the people wanted to know how to tell who they were to follow - who is going to be the representative of God on earth when he died. What did Moses tell them?

And before the Lord left the apostles were given instruction about who was in charge. In the final words to us in the Revelation of Jesus Christ, we again see the same direction.

What is that direction that has been the founding and sustaining principle He gave?

Catholics seem to think it was to follow false teachers who can give them an excuse to not do as God said to do - both through Moses and His only begotten Son. The clue is to see who keeps the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus, which is what it is to abide in His word and believe Him. If you're not being careful to do His will and following what you want to do or failing to pay attention to know when someone has lied to you or taught false doctrine/commandments in the name of the LORD - God have mercy on your soul.

God has one truth.
No, I'm not lying. I'm saying to look at what God has said from the beginning, throughout the Scriptures, and finally through the Son. God cannot lie. Yes, God has one truth - that should be indisputable. The issue is to find out who is telling the truth of God - and we cannot know who that is unless we are careful to observe what God said to do - not adding to it - not taking away from it.

We have so many Churches because many don't pay attention to what God has said. The divisions arise from adding to His direction or taking away from His direction. The divisions are a result of division of His words - dividing that which God has joined together.

There is only 1 reason for the conglomeration of Churches. Sola Scriptura which is very ironically non-biblical.
