Where does one go to confess being defrocked? And can one ever be forgiven for breaching that sacred trust in the Presbyterian Church? Can one be undefrocked?

Is that normal for catholic behavior? I understand that the confession box is rarely used these days...
Being Catholic has nothing to do with it. Sex doesn't stop just because one's spouse dies and if one is developing dementia or Alzheimer's sexual feelings almost always intensify. I learned in Hospice training to never be alone with a widow. Just some friendly advice.

JR is a little more tolerant.

You can confess it to anyone. If you want forgiveness confess it to God.

It is possible that just like Mark and Mike, JR couldn't find the confession both either.

To those who say the true Church is invisible:

Nowhere in Scripture will it ever be found that the Church is invisible. Rather references in Scripture are everywhere which point to a visible Church. How are the following verses to be understood of an invisible Church?

"And if he will not hear them: tell the church. And if he will not hear the church, let him be to thee as the heathen and publican" Matt 18:17.

"Take heed to yourselves, and to the whole flock, wherein the Holy Ghost hath placed you bishops, to rule the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood." Acts 20:28

"But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth" 1 Tim 3:15

"And sending from Miletus to Ephesus, he called the ancients of the church" Acts 20:17

"And when they were come to Jerusalem, they were received by the church, and by the apostles and ancients, declaring how great things God had done with them" Acts 15:4

"And when they had ordained to them priests in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, in whom they believed" Acts 14:22

"And when they were come, and had assembled the church, they related what great things God had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith to the Gentiles" Acts 14:26

"And going down to Caesarea, he went up to Jerusalem, and saluted the church, and so came down to Antioch" Acts 18:22

The SPROUL ancestry was of Catholic belief and you know how dishonest they are. Our family name has never recovered from our pagan ancestors. Even today the Catholic church is never used in the same sentence as "honest" or "truthful". Although we separated from our past we cannot shake the Catholic stigma.

Speaking of honesty, give it a try and answer this question seriously for me. Concerning the links I posted of the nuns that were black veil brides in the Catholic covenants, does the church condone this. According to their reports they were tortured and raped by priests and older nuns. We know the church condones Opus Dei and the practice of corporal mortification. Do they practice suffering as preparation of sorts for the purification of their soul?

So what do you think old RC Sproul Sr would think of you posting such daily gibberish under his name? Maybe someone should print all these screens and send them off to him.

The Errors of Protestantism: Emotionalism

Protestantism is at its core a very emotional religion. It is founded on the highly emotional and prideful state of "who are you to tell me what to believe!" and "no man but Christ Himself has spiritual authority over me!" This is the emotional state it takes to embrace Sola Scriptura. In the end, Protestantism is a highly individualist religion, and it is this very thing that gave it birth, that will ultimately be it's end

Errors of Protestantism: History.

Historical Christian doctrines "held without controversy" for thousands of years.

God the Son is of the same substance and nature as God the Father.

God is a Triune Being (Trinity).

Jesus has a fully human and a fully divine nature in one being

The Real Presence of the Body and Blood of Christ exists in the Eucharist.

Apostolic Succession of Bishops is essential to the preservation of the Faith.

Scripture and Tradition together are rules of faith.

The Holy Spirit infallibly guides the Church into all truths.

Baptismal Regeneration.

Believers are saved by the grace of God and their obedient faith.

Believers can lose their salvation through sin.

Infant Baptism.

The Bible is comprised of 27 books of the NT and 46 books of OT.(Deuterocanonical Books are part of Scripture).

Male only Priesthood.

Primacy of the Bishop of Rome among Bishops.

Canonization and Veneration of Saints.

The prayers of departed saints are effectual for us.

Confessions of sins to a priest.

Penance should be done for sins committed.

State of most of the departed faithful are in a temporary holding place awaiting their final judgment, although those who have lived a truly holy life on earth can go straight to heaven.

Prayers for the other departed faithful are effectual in helping them grow in grace.

The Seven Sacraments: Baptism, Confirmation, Confession, Communion, Marriage, Holy Orders, and Extreme Unction

High honor and veneration given to the Blessed Ever-Virgin Mary as the Theotokos (the Mother of God--the New Eve).

Liturgical Worship as the "Melody of Theology".

Images in worship were admitted as a helpful means in worship.
