Mark Eden thinks Catholics should be pointing out the errors of Catholics of which there are many. Look at what the ex-Catholics say. MY,my,my, one error after another.

I especially like the Bad Popes or the Immoral Popes.

How can you tell the infallible Popes from the fallible Popes?

Priests take a vow of celibacy required by the Catholic church but not so by the word of God. So they have a problem in that as many as 50 % and sometimes more have turned homosexual according to the above link. Below is a problem with nuns. by following the word of God and allowing priests to marry some of these problems could be minimized I believe.

The Catholic church is by no means the only church that has problems. This is not a put down but just a point being made that they are not as holy as they claim to be. They have some serious problems within the church. Working towards correcting those problems rather than hiding them, I believe is the right way to go. Allowing marriage could be a big help in fixing the problem as much as humanly possible.

What are the Catholic interpretations other than personal interpretations of scripture?

Can someone help me understand why high end prot churches are notoriously pro-abortion, pro-palestinian, anti-Israel, pro-muslim, pro-big government and pro-illegal aliens? Just for an example there is a female United States Senator who is a Presbyterian Elder and who holds all of the above listed positions. Can someone help me find in the New Testament where a woman can be an Elder? Can someone help me understand why high and low end prot clergy do little boys and girls, men and women but it never makes the nightly news?

All the things you mention are problems for Protestants that may keep them out of the church. Catholics have problems also. My point is that it is not whether you are Protestant of Catholic that makes you part of the church.

I think folks in here would call this a game of dodgeball but then all the prot clergy you know have been defrocked.

Now, now, Mark are we getting personal here? If I knew what I said would upset you this much I would have never said it. Oh well,to late now. Have a good old Catholic day.

Here's a thought- if most catholics believe they will eventually have to go to "purgatory" first to be cleansed, that means they have to pay for and suffer the consequences of their sins until they are paid up.

*Why would you need a Savior? Aren't you paying your own price?
*Foremost in my mind, WHAT KIND OF HOPE IS THAT? If I become a catholic, I still will suffer consequences for my sin, regardless of Jesus dying on the cross. Part of my "eternal life" is spent in suffering. Just not as long as that other guy.

We can't get an answer about infants- "we don't know, only God knows". Yet Mary got assumed to heaven. How many "saints" have been declared? Their tickets are said to be punched- but everybody else we don't know?

How is this a personal interpretation?
(CATHOLICS)The priest forgives sin as a judge [1442, 1461].
(BIBLE)No one can forgive sin but God alone (Mark 2:7).

Which brings us back to the Pope question. Is he God? Can he forgive sin?

The one they have now doesn't even know the meaning of redemption. Hard to take him seriously.

How can you be the "leader of the spiritual world" and not have a clue about the meaning of redemption? Somehow he manages though.

You told me to go efff off before. Close enough. The man said even atheists were redeemed. That caused a big stir. Then everyone made sure that all knew that he wasn't saying that atheists were going to heaven. Which I agree- he wasn't. But, ATHEISTS ARE NOT REDEEMED.

Jesus paid the ransom price for them with His blood. But atheists aren't believers; redemption is IN Christ Jesus. Atheists aren't redeemed. He's the leader of billions and doesn't know this?

Bashers and bullies? You ever go back and examine how yourself and Mike come across? Catholicism is the biggest bully in the Christian schoolyard. Those coc like JR and Heath are catholic wannabes in that sense.

I have wondered if Mike would perform the exorcism for you or do you have to get a special priest? Have you found out the name of your demon?
