Exactly! Is repentance [Acts 2:38] a requirement for one to be added to the Body- the church? Original sin?- I think not. Babies are innocent thus do not need to repent nor be baptized.
For a convert. It does not say "everybody in the household was baptized except your Jesus' beloved children. They are on their own.

We know a few years after Jesus' death that christians were baptizing infants. This is when all the disciples were living

Not one of them said stop doing that.

You are so ignorant of history. All Jews were married through the Church. Wedding feast of Cana ring a bell for you.
Of course Peter was married in the Jewish "church". He was a good Jew.
Stupid post wasn't it?
Jewish church= Roman Catholic church

So your Roman Catholic church was around not only from the beginning of the New Testament church but was around since the beginning of Jewish religion. Where were all the Popes when we needed them.
Hmmm

Even the original protesters believed in infant baptism. Only since 1800 has the doctrine of not including your children in the Kingdom of God became mainstream.
The Bible says it is the new circumcision. The only argument for 1800 years was whether you had to wait 8 days to baptize a baby.
Fundamentalist prots are the only ones who reject Jesus' command to "let the children come to me."
Why force your kids to go to Church and don't allow them to become Christians.
Why do you want to keep your children pagans? You feed, clothe and give them medical care, but you don't give them to Jesus.
*Original protesters? That's a good reason to practice something isn't it? Not including children? Hardly. Diversionary tactics here, dodgeball. Should be simple- when does an infant repent?

"New circumcision, grandfathered in" to the kingdom. If this isn't warmed over judaism, someone explain what is. What was necessary for the Ethiopian eunuch to be baptized? "If you believe with all your heart you may. I BELIEVE Jesus Christ is the Son of God". When does an infant believe with all their heart?

*Bobby, this is TRUE BAPTISMAL REGENERATION on display right here.

What you miss about most of us here is this- we actually think the Bible teaches that we most come to Jesus of our own free will and decision, we are not born into covenant because of something done to us we have no recollection of, had no meaning for us when it was done. Our children are no different. An infant cannot believe with all his/her heart, believe Jesus is the Son of God.

That is what happens with no Authority. All of sudden 1800 years after Jesus, somebody decides that infant baptism is wrong.

You are claiming billions and billions of infant baptisms were invalid so everybody from AD 32 to AD 1800 were not saved because you say so.

Even Fr. Martin Luther when he was tossing out Tobit et al didn't throw out infant baptism or "sprinkling," practices still carried on by Lutherans today.

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said to them,“REPENT, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Acts 8:12 But when they BELIEVED Philip as he preached the things concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, both men and women were baptized.

Acts 8:13 Then Simon himself also BELIEVED; and when he was baptized he continued with Philip, and was amazed, seeing the miracles and signs which were done.

Acts 8:36 Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said,“See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized?”

Acts 8:37 Then Philip said,“If you BELIEVE with all your heart, you may.”

And he answered and said,“I BELIEVE that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.”

Acts 16:15 And when she and her household were baptized, she begged us, saying,“If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my house and stay.” So she "persuaded" us.

Acts 16:32-34 Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house. And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their stripes. And immediately he and all his family were baptized. Now when he had brought them into his house, he set food before them; and he rejoiced, "HAVING BELIEVED" in God with all his household.

Acts 18:8 Then Crispus, the ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his household. And many of the Corinthians, hearing, BELIEVED and were baptized.

Acts 19:4 Then Paul said,“John indeed baptized with a baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should BELIEVE on Him who would come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.”

I'm not claiming anything you say I am.

When does an infant repent? Examples of infant baptism performed and "authorized" by the apostles?

Error: Celibate Priests

There is no Scripture that requires pastors be unmarried. Peter and the apostles were married (1 Cor. 9:5). The requirements for being a bishop or pastor state that a man "should be the husband" of one wife, which clearly provides for married ministers (1 Tim. 3:2). The Bible also warns that mandatory celibacy is a doctrine of demons, required by hypocritical liars (1 Tim. 4:1-3).

He has no examples in Scripture. In fact, the scriptures I posted show that one must have faith - BELIEVE - and repent. This alone disqualifies infants.

Quick rule of thumb, any denomination founded before the 17th century (1800) will probably allow infant baptism. Any founded after then will not.

Of course a convert has to believe and repent to baptized.

Show me one example in history of a baby having to wait for some arbitrary age to be baptized from 32 AD to 1500?
