These threads have filled up with irrelevant nonsense lately. Now it's "anything you can do I can do better".
The RCC's sheeple get shown for what they really are on topic after topic, with their only defense being lame deflections away from the rotting corpse of their church via ad hominem commentary about posts and posters that highlight their church's litany of failure throughout it's history.
It is most certainly not the church that started in Acts 2. Or Acts 9. Or anywhere else found in the Bible, including any of their 20+ versions of the Bible.
What is the Church started in Acts? Show it to me. Can't be Protestant one. Those started in 1520.

Name one person from that Church from AD 100 and AD 1500 and something they might have written.

You must be low church Prot too right?

These bashers are accustomed to coming to these forums and never ever being challenged by people who are obviously better educated and informed. A couple of them can't handle it! I must admit I love watching them squirm when confronted with what they call irrelevant nonsense. They want to get back to scriptural issues but this thread was started for the sole purpose of bashing Catholics. Of course of all the people in world history, they alone have the ability to interpret Scripture.

Interesting tidbit. My wife has a close work related friend who is catholic, she does not know the bible very well and when she comes to visit she stays all day. She seems to be interested-no mesmerized- when hearing about God. She loves to talk to me about financial issues, she is a widow. Just recently found out she is catholic. She fell on a tile floor and knocked out some of her teeth. I guess you might want to pray for her, we have.
I think she might be hitting on you.

Which of course makes everything right regarding the Vatican and Nazi Germany. But hey, at least the Vatican escaped the blitz, right?
The Vatican escaped the Blitz because Jesus said it would protect his Church until the end of ages.

Just because you and Mark do not know nay Catholics with character does not mean that Bobby doesn't. Can you imagine the amazement of Catholics if they were taught the truth of God's Word? I can understand the woman being in awe.

Looks like another Mark Eden post that is unworthy of a response. I only post to amuse him.

Did you know that the Catholic Church reads the entire Bible to her congregation over the span of three years? Of course we do; Catholics invented the Bible!

Not only do Catholics read the Bible, they experience the Bible like no other Christians in the Mass. Sprinkled throughout the Mass, in the prayers the priest prays or the responses from the congregation, are quotes directly from the Bible.

Scripture is also sung throughout the hymns which are primarily based on the Bible.

You see, the Catholic Church celebrates, lives, and teaches everything through the Scriptures. The Catholic Church is the most biblical church in all of Christianity.

Why does anything have to happen? Maybe Bobby has some morals, after all he is not Catholic.

I don't recall reading that their was a sign on the building. Don't recall their being a building. Don't recall them naming the church in either chapter.

If you're going by name or practice I'd say all of us are in trouble because none of us follow what the early church was doing.

Better informed in what? Not the scriptures. Maybe catholic history.

Squirm when confronted with nonsense? All we are confronted with is nonsense. Simple argument-

Keys and Peter.
Only one for 1500, 1800, whatever years.
Pillar and ground.

Shown where scriptures contradict you on all- repeat the above.

Everyone can understand the scriptures. For 1700 years some have only wanted people to understand them THEIR way. Some people have caved, decided to accept their interpretation without investigating whether it's right or not. That's where "keys, 1500, and pillar and ground" keep them in bondage. Catholics cannot argue on scriptural grounds because "their book" doesn't say what their organization says it does. That's where logic, education, "keys 1500 and pillar" become the argument.

LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL.

All that "Bible" and they don't even understand it.
Most Biblical church in all of Christianity. It's not even Christianity! Your leader doesn't know the meaning of redemption. That John Paul guy- haven't got an answer if he's in purgatory, out of purgatory, or gets out in December; how does he do miracles in purgatory; and where do we even read about purgatory anyway?

Mass- who named it that anyway? Where's that word at?

Catholicism and Christianity isn't the same. Catholicism took the high priest and the sacrifices, left Jerusalem and set up shop in Rome. Same old stuff, new name. Add in some pagan spice and away we go!

So the 2000 year CC cannot understand scripture and you can.
The Church that wrote and produced the Bible does not understand it?

You just said EVERYONE can understand scripture. Tens of Billions of people are all wrong and Dave P is right.

Why are you right???

How can you not understand the complete absurdity of that???

Ridiculous!!!!!!

Let me get this right. When did Christianity start? Any sane semi-literate person will admit only the CC existed for 1520 years.

Then the reformation came and all of the low church Prots say all of the reformers were wrong therefore not Christians.

So I guess Christianity started when Dave P first read the Catholic book.

Its hard for me to believe that somebody will actually admit to such ignorance of anything that went on before him.

The Catholic Church follows exactly what the early Church was doing.

All evidence proves that.

The Church is the pillar and foundation of Truth, not scripture.

The Church is not the community of believers. Satan believes.

You believe part of the truth but you are not part of the Church.

You are a Christian only because the CC says you are.

We had the Orthodox church and we still do. They have a canon that is slightly different than the Catholic canon and still do. We have the Coptic churches and others also, so just tell it like it is. The Catholics
split from the rest of Christianity and tried to take complete control. By the way, your post has reflected that very well.

The Old who Schismed who argument. I tell you what. The Orthodox are still Catholic. I always say CC. Rome is the original Church . Orthodox are our cousins. They kind of split up too without authority though.
