I have to assume that is an exclusive CofC term with which I'm not familiar.

Let me help out.

"Gay basher" is what you call those that speak against homosexuals, right? Those who do that must be gay themselves according to you.

If you speak against rape you must be a rape basher, right?

By speaking against rape (and this is your logic) you must be a rapist.

Or do you not speak against rape?

That would be a whole other problem, right?

Those who are notoriously and publicly vocal in their denunciation of gay people, deliberately using stereotypes and disinformation, I consider gay bashers. The preachers I listed did that but all were later caught having sex with men. Sunday night I heard a local gay basher accuse gay people of engaging in the very same practice many heterosexual couples do as well, namely anal intercourse. Now not all heterosexuals engage in anal intercourse but neither do all gay people. Frankly, I don't think this particular preacher knows any better but he used a stereotype to sensationalize and spread disinformation.

As for your rape statement it seems to me anyone, particularly politicians and preachers, who takes very public positions against most any sexual behavior are most likely doing it themselves and using their persona as a cover. It has happened too many times not to raise suspicions but maybe that's a stereotype as well.

Didnt Christ and the apostle take a stance against such behavior or sin? According to your logic what were Christ and the Apostles doing?????

How dare you compare Christ and the Apostles to the charlatan preachers which populate low end prot churches across this country and especially show up on local television stations. You are a disgusting freak for sure.

You should proof read before you post. In the post I responded to you said "anyone" Now if you want to limit that to certain people you should have done so. So yes when you said "anyone" you include those past men of faith.

I take it you would like to be included in that group. Jump on in. So what do you think of a very public gay basher who may not be having sex with another man is but is certainly doing business with a gay man? Is that OK? Am I describing you?

Perhaps you would be so kind as to provide the Scripture where Christ spoke about men having sex with men.

Why am I not surprised you are defending this? You really need to study the bible and not be following the traditions of man. This is a perfect example of why the word is the only reliable way we have of knowing the direction to take. How can we rely on the traditions of homosexual Catholic priests in regards to this matter when they would be obviously biased based upon their past history. No we must look to the word and if you do you will find your answer my friend. Yes it is all there.

All I did was ask a question for which you were unable to provide an answer and you launched into one of your usual Catholic bashing screeds.

I am perfectly capable of giving you an answer, I was just pointing out the Catholic ignorance (which results in false teaching) of the bible when they go their own way and not that oF God. God gave us the word and Catholics gave us whatever they wanted to and called it tradition. You would know the answer to your question if you looked to what the word of God said instead of what the word of man(your Pope)said. They contradict each other, so who is right the Pope or God?

Mat 19:9 And I say to you: whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery."

Illicit sexual intercourse(sexual immorality)is grounds for divorce in this verse by Jesus. Illicit sexual intercourse includes adultery, fornication, homosexuality, lesbianism, intercourse with animals, sexual intercourse with close relatives, sexual intercourse with a divorced man or woman (Mar 10:11,Mar 10:12). So Jesus certainly seems to be saying that homosexuality is not as kosher as the catholic Pope seems to imply is it? It is grounds for divorce as is adultery. I am pointing out the difference in what Catholics teach as compared to what the bible teaches. An atheist can do this it is so apparent. Catholics do not allow their priests to have a wife or have sexual relations with a woman and remain a priest but homosexual relations is accepted or winked at by the Pope. The Pope accepts gay priests in the Vatican but not adulterous priests when it is the same thing. This is an act(porniea)and if a priest is a homosexual or adulterer they are equally involved in this act, no difference. If you repent from this act you are no longer to be considered as such(1 Corthinians 6). If a priest commits these acts he has broken his vows. I am not sure the church covering up or justifying the breaking of vows by priests is exactly kosher either, but that is another discussion.

Your attitude of being civil and harnessing your potty mouth has been noticed by me at least. I congratulate you on your improved behavior and am glad to see you are back on your meds.

You are effing nuts and a liar. And only ultra liberal, anti-Christian, pro-Muslim, pro-abortion left wingers would quote The Guardian but you no doubt ever even heard of The Guardian whose rabid readers are called Guardianistas.
