Here's a moment of fun-my four year old just poured out a whole bag of powdered sugar. All my kids played in it and are covered. Hilarious. No wonder Jesus loves children :)

1. This is only the beginning of our downfall as a country. We have a long fall down. Scary.
2. Our unfriendly neighborhood troll is back. Don't feed it-especially after midnight.
3. Louisville has the toughest region to get out of. If they make it out past Oregon, Michigan State and Duke they will win it I believe. Another topic for another thread though.
You're a moron. All this crap you you're talking about is sin.

<quoted text>Randy i wonder if by chance you saw headliners monday nite. Larry surber tried to say south park was gainst pedophiles, and they played the end of the nambla show. I played it again tonite and my point of bringing it us is this; the pedophiles made the exact argument that has gotten the homosexual into the positive. They said; America is suppose to be where you are free to be happy. We are just different and people are afraid because they do not understand us. also We were born this way we cannot help it, and then they allude to the preacher who said fence in the homosexuals, they said i guess you will put us away somewhere... at this point in the film all the opposition began looking compassionate, even the FBI with machine guns. It was unbelievable that they use the exact rhetoric. Glad you posted your above comments
Headliners? Nambla show? FBI with machine guns? Appears I'm behind on things or something.

I currently have direct TV and no net at home except for on my cell phone. I plan to switch back to Comcast and get net back today or tomorrow.

I agree with your points above. This gay marriage thing is a gateway for pedophiles to say they were born that way thus they deserve equal rights, too.

I am shocked that so many so-called straight people and some professing Christians are for the gay agenda. I am currently butting heads with some of my friends on this issue.

Most people in their 20's and 30's seem to have a "don't care attitude" about this, saying its doesn't matter to them if gays marry or not. One friend last night on my Facebook said she didn't care what any Christan believed that everybody deserved equal rights and this woman is straight. Things have come a long ways in the past 20 years- morals mean nothing- neither does the Bible to those who support gay marriage.

This deserves a long answer, I will try to make it short. We now live in a nanny state where the government owns our children and grandchildren-their minds and hearts.

The bible is now considered by many to be inferior to science and is often regulated down to an ancient, contrived fairy tale.

Hollywood and the rich and famous are our kids idols.

Nearly every family now has a member who is gay and mothers and fathers still love them and now accept their lifestyles as normal. They are not considered to have the power of choice anymore, they must be born that way.

The internet!

It has been a progression of many things, this only scratches the surface of what happens when a nation turns from God and loses it's moral compass.

I agree, I think many factors have made pathways to where we now are with this whole gay rights/marriage things. Being a divorced man, its hard to admit this, but even divorce has played a role in this. I divorced on "scriptural grounds" however, one can break a marriage nowadays for any reason thus this even contributed to where we are with gay marriage.

I know of a Christian who told me he was sick of the whole argument. That is the point-overwhelm us with it, get us tired, then they roll over.

Glenn Beck is a mormon who champions religious liberty and getting back to God, but when it comes to gay marriage says "I'm a libertarian. It doesnt affect me who somebody else marries. I don't care." Way to stand up GB.

Here is the sad thing-Satan is using our freedom against us. I had a feeling when this all heated up that constitutionally, the US would probably have to legalize gay marriage because of the promise of life, liberty, pursuit of happiness, rights, etc. Satan is a very crafty devil.

Yes it looks bad, however no government by man can ever rule perfectly. Jesus will set all things right when he returns...

You beat down the rights of some while many other sinners go unchecked. This is not what America was founded on.

If you are speaking of gay marriage, I have a different view. All people have the right to marry in this country. They have the right to marry another person of the opposite sex who isn't too closely related to them. There is no prohibition against that right. The gay marriage battle is about giving a group of citizens special rights that others wouldn't have. It is also about changing the definition of what marriage has been since God created it. No one is telling homosexuals that they cannot engage in homosexual activity today either.

Sin is not going unchecked. Unfortunately, some do demonize homosexuality more than others, but sin is sin no matter what it is. But here's something to remember. At least Christians love homosexuals enough to tell them about the danger of engaging in such behavior. We could let them go into eternal destruction without giving any warning. Isn't that morally responsible?

Christians are losing the fight bc they preach tolerance, love thy neighbor, etc., but then are the FIRST to cast stones. It's hypocritical and you lose credibility. Case in point:
WingsofWisdom calling ppl morons, etc. is not exactly practicing what you preach. Read your bible and see that is also a sin. So we then put gays and Christians like WingsofWisdom in the same "evil" class. Only these Christians are a lot more annoying bc they're so busy worrying about what everyone else is doing! You're not going to convince a gay/lesbian to change, just like they aren't going to convince you of their beliefs. Christianity will continue to decline until you ppl wake up!!

I agree with your principle here Ants. Hypocritical people do harm the cause. That's always been the case and will always be so.

However you say that "You're not going to convince a gay/lesbian to change". Couple of points-first of all, the apostle Paul did just that in Corinth, and some have done so even today. Second, we haven't been commanded by Jesus to convince everyone-we've been commanded by Jesus to tell everyone. There's a difference. Jesus Himself didn't change the minds of many of the people of His day. Why should we today expect any different?

Where we are today started back in the 1500s. We have come to almost the final conclusion of what we started then.

Sola Scriptura. For all but the Catholic Church there is no Authority for the Christian religion. It is believing whatever you want to Bible to say to fit your on beliefs.

The volcano started to erupt in the 50's when all of the denominations but the CC said that the birth control pill was okay. Before then, contraception was evil and against Jesus' teaching.

The Pope at the time surprised the world when he cam out against artificial birth control why predicting what has actually happened today. The rise of abortion , unwed mothers, and divorce which the pill was suppose to prevent.

Then except for Catholics in other countries, Christians have stopped having Children. The affects of this have been far reaching. Muslims are taking over Europe by adhering to God's command to be fruitful and multiply.

We as Americans teach multiple children is a sign of ignorance, not being good stewards of the earth's resources, and that it might keep you from getting a big house and nice cars because you have more than 2 children.

We are reaping what we sow..Sola Scriptura is a man made and a un-biblical doctrine

Even though you are obnoxious, I agree with you about the idea of birth control although I do not believe it is a sin. However it has had an effect on our changing population statistics. Christians are no longer having large families-reproducing christians, but third world countries and Muslims in particular are growing fast. It is for sure that the muslims will not reproduce christians. The salt of the earth is losing it's saltiness.

It certainly does not help that you are being so divisive.

It didn't take a prophet, pope, or rocket scientist to figure out what would happen with womens lib, the pill, abortion, etc. This was a planned event from secular progressives and it has worked according to their desires. Blaming all of Christianity except for catholicism is shortsighted at best, dishonest at worst. Sola scriptura and protestantism is not the cause. Satan, sin, and ungodliness are the culprits. Get those facts right.

Not allowing gay marriage is sexual discrimination. It is constitutionally unlawful. End this ban now.
