Maybe read up on a man named Lee Strobel - he is a former atheist who set out to prove the Bible, and God, were nothing but a myth.

You have NO BUSINESS concerning yourself with my soul.....you are NOT my Minister(if I actually had one), nor are you a member of my congregation(again, if I had one), nor a friend, nor an acquaintance......so kindly keep your false religious teachings OUT OF MY AFFAIRS!!!

Thank you!!!

The Bible explains the reason some can understand it and some cannot.
.
Jesus explains why he speaks in parables when teaching to the people back in that day -
.
God closes the eyes and ears of some - so that they will not understand. He does not do this to the believers - he does this to the ones who reject Him and His Word. It's also called a "veil" - over the ones who have evil thoughts and minds.
.
I can find the exact excerpt from the Bible if you'll give me a sec.

According to the Bible, homosexuality is an abomination - and disgusts God as does all other sin.
homosexuality is an abomination and is considered a disgusting thing. one should stay far away from it.

In other words, the Bible IS confusing to those who seek to try to destroy it.
.
Those who repent and turn from their sin - God lifts the veil from their eyes and ears.
And causes them to understand.

Yep, it's that simple.

The link you provided - the author of that appears to be asking why the Bible is so confusing.
.
But again - it is because the author has evil intentions to begin with. i.e. he isn't seeking the truth - he is seeking "mistakes" so he can try to make a case against God and His Word.
Thing is - he won't find any mistakes.
.
HAD and IF the author actually read the entire Bible, and with a sincere heart, he would have answered his own questions. Yes, the answers are in the Bible - I've read the answers to all of his questions. They're there - but in order to truly seek God and His Word, you have to be sincere and with a good heart - not evil.

And see, that is what you should be asking yourself - do you sincerely want to know the truth - or are you just casting doubt towards God's Word because you now it is the truth.

.
Only you can answer that. But rest assured, God already knows the answer to it.

As is all other sin - alcohol, witchcraft, idolatry, hatred, murder, etc - but reality is, there are a lot of people who are dealing with these things.
Some want to be free of them - some don't. But you never know for sure until you sit down and talk with them.

Mark 4:10-13 "And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable. 11 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: 12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them. 13 And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?"

This is the part about God's veil over some people:
.
.
2 Corinthians 4:4

King James Version (KJV)

4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Also in Corinthians, same verse:
.
.
3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
.
.
Which would imply that those who can't understand the Bible - are considered "lost". Which means they are not saved - yet.

2 Corinthians 3:12-16

King James Version (KJV)

12 Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:

13 And not as Moses, which put a veil over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:

14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.

15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.

16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.

So - once a person repents - and turns from sin - then God lifts the veil from their eyes and ears - and then - and only then - will they fully understand the Bible - God's Word.
.
As long as that person lives in sin - they will be unable to understand.
.
If a person wants - truly wants - to understand the Bible, they have to repent to God and then turn from that or those sin(s).
.
And if a person chooses to reject repentance, God and His Bible - then that is that person's choice.

I'm not trying to act like God - by trying to help you to the truth - which you claimed the Bible is a myth - so I'm trying to help you understand that it's not a myth.

Reading comprehension is not a strong skill of yours, is it?

I'm NOT now nor ever rejecting God, just your version of god and certainly that mythical book you worship!

I have things I repent for everyday, but being a Lesbian is NOT one of them!!!

I understand people getting in to the homosexual life - I was there myself for a very long time. What I never could understand is the people that claim to believe in God - yet try to justify homosexuality is not a sin in God's eyes.
.
I had a friend - actually an ex - who justified her being gay as saying that the Bible used the term "man" when talking about that - so because she was a woman, she was exempt.
I tried to point out the part of the Bible (Romans in the New Testament) but she refused to even look at it - turned her head, laughing, and said "Noooo I don't want to see that".
.
In her mind - if she didn't actually lay her eyes on the text in the Bible, she wouldn't be held accountable - and it wouldn't be a sin.
.
.
I just don't get people - they know it's a sin, as I did - but they go to very unusual lengths to try to justify it as not being a sin.
.
When I was in that life, I always fessed up that it was a sin - I never not once tried to justify it away with rejecting the Bible or what God says in the Bible about it. I just flat out rebelled. But, dunno, it just baffles me to listen to, then and now, to all of the gay people's creative ways to make them feel not so guilty, I guess.
