You really need to listen to that 16 sec speech......the President stated that whether we were or whether we aren't a Christian Nation.....WE ARE NOT JUST a Christian Nation......We are a Jewish Nation, a Hindu Nation, a Buddhist Nation and a Non-Believer Nation.......this is the jest of the speech........I do enjoy it when people makes fools of themselves!!!
Look at how these perverts destroy the truth and continue in their lies even though proven wrong without a shadow of a doubt. To state we are no longer a Christian nation in itself means we were once a Christian nation. Like I said this lying is either intentional or they are exhibiting a reprobate mind. Either way the gay agenda is based on untruths and this is a perfect example. NorCal Native claims (whether we were or whether we aren't) is said? This person who claims to have a Masters in education claims a college professor speaks like that? Well, just shuck and jive me all day long will "ya".

President Obama
Where we once were, we are no longer a Christian nation, at least not just. We are also a Jewish nation, a Muslim nation, a Buddhist nation, a Hindu nation, and a nation of unbelievers.

I assume "NorCal Native" refers to Northern California. If so it would explain a lot.

From another site:
Mr. Rice has even, in his profound ignorance, called me dishonest and urged me not to use the honorable label "atheist" for talking about the treaty. But careful research into the facts, accompanied by honest presentation of those facts, leads to important support for the thesis that the Constitutional framers intended this nation to have a government strictly neutral regarding religion.

Nothing by after the fact propaganda. In fact, the United States Navy was created to deal with Muslim pirates.... The nation was founded in1776 to be brought to ashes on a certain year, and then the New World Order was to rise from the ashes as the Pheonix.

Secular humanism is a very recent development to assist in their goals. Stop talking like an idiot.

"Apollyon Rising 2012" is well researched, but unfriendly towards Masons and others. I had a 33rd degree Mason fact check the book and his only comment was 'I guess it just matters what you believe,' as he charged the book was not telling the truth, but after examination he could find no fault in the truth it told on them (the Masons). Many of our founders were Masons and only pretended to let others think they were Christians, when they we not. There has long existed a duality in our nations' foundations that pre-dates the Constitution. The layout of DC has no Christian symbolism, but abounds with paganism.

So there were Christians who founded the nation, some Pagans, and some of other theological leanings. The basic first roots started with those seeking religious freedom - the Pilgrims. Too bad we couldn't just keep to the Mayflower Compact, but that is long gone history. The old Supreme Court finding that the USA was a Christian nation is historical fact. If you care about the truth it is easy enough to find on the internet via Google.

Again, it's not that hard to figure out except when it comes to thick skull individuals who can't figure out that this Country CAN NOT DENY AN AMERICAN CITIZEN A RIGHT JUST BECAUSE ONE DOESN'T LIKE WHO THEY ARE!!!

Really, you're claiming that because back in 1892 that the United States Supreme Court ruled that we were a Christian Nation that meant we were, right? Here is some information for ya:
David Barton (The Myth of Separation, pp. 47-51) and others of the Religious right claim that the Supreme Court determined that the United States was a Christian nation in the 1892 case, Church of the Holy Trinity v. United States, 143 U.S. 226 (1892). Unfortunately, their thesis and the analysis of the case that accompanies it amounts to little more than a manipulation of the language of the opinion to distort the actual meaning of the case, its relevant facts and its stated rule of law.

More:
Justice Brewer then writes in the opinion that "beyond all these matters no purpose of action against religion can be imputed to any legislation, state or national, because this is a religious people." Several pages later, after presenting a religious history of America, he follows up with the statement: "These, and many other matters which might be noticed, add a volume of unofficial declarations to the mass of organic utterances that this is a Christian nation." Barton splices together these two quotes and cites Holy Trinity as establishing America as a Christian Nation.
http://candst.tripod.com/tnppage/arg7.htm

You should read U.S. v. Macintosh(1931)

The other two cases which cite Holy Trinity's christian nation dictum are Marsh v. Chambers (1982), and Lynch v. Donnelly (1983). Brennan writes dissents in both cases and uses the Brewer verbiage to criticize the majority's use of history to support legislative prayer and a government sponsored creche. In the creche case,(Lynch), Brennan writes, "By insisting that such a distinctively sectarian message is merely an unobjectionable part of our 'religious heritage,' the Court takes a long step backwards to the days when Justice Brewer could arrogantly declare for the Court that 'this is a Christian nation.' Those days, I had thought, were forever put behind us ...."

It seems that the High Court made an error in 1892 and here you are pulling that error out of your azz to justify your position......sorry, but we are NOT a Christian Nation and NEVER was it intended for us to be a Christian Nation per our founding fathers!!!

As I said, and it's documented in Apollyon Rising 2012, our nation was founded in a split of religious beliefs. Further, the secret plans were not made public. What we see today of the divisions to bring the US down has been long in the works by those who founded the nation with Pagan purposes for the New World Order - Democrat or Republican makes no difference - our fate was cast at the Civil War - there is no State or individual sovereignty any more - it is all about the Fed and Corporation of the USA - not the nation founded by the fathers of 'We the People'.

You're just a tool and have no sense of who you are really supporting. You'll find out soon enough though.

Did you listen to the interview of Charlette?

What? I turn my back and you completely quit discussing homosexuality entirely? I obviously need to re-explain the point and purpose of this thread.

You would RATHER talk about a "Christian Nation" because having a pleasant, grown-up discussion about homosexuality is above and beyond how you EVER intend to act. This is the reason I started this thread - you NEED to come to terms that whether or not there will be homosexuality is out of your hands - homosexuality already IS and you need to calm down and start treating homosexual people with respect.

Until recently, everyone was very respectful to the "gays", explaining that they are saddened that gays will be going to Hell, but gays can redeem themselves by joining the church and being celibate or trying out heterosexuality. That was, of course, before any publicly gay people arrived to defend themselves - and now you see where this thread has taken us.

Several of the original posters have dropped out of the discussion - I will admit, the discussion was dragging on a bit - but I thought it would add another angle to invite an ACTUAL gay person to present that side of the argument. I even brought a rare gay person - she IS legally married - most gay people are not.

Of course, she was quickly followed by some unintended visitors - Anonymous Proxy and killedjoe are quite interesting but also aggressive. Suddenly, I recognize another aspect of this issue that I couldn't explain before - I want Christians to stop being so mean to gay people.

The Christians I was speaking with previously were quite nice, actually - it was hard for me to accuse them of mistreating gay people. But NOW I see it.

There is only one public gay poster in this conversation - even though I am heterosexual, I feel like I am "like her" in that all judgement towards homosexuality also applies to me. Is all that you have said about NorCal also true about me?

Anonymous Proxy has described me as a reprobate (is that a villain?), a pansy, a fairy, a butch, trashy, sissy, bugger, sodomite, promiscuous, a blind puppy, effeminate, ignorant, stupid, and a liar. Other gay rights supporters and I are a bunch of queers with a mental disorder who accept perversion and our lies pervert the scriptures. To have a conversation with me would cause someone to stoop too low because the garbage that I post are nothing but lies and I cannot defend my actions without lying.

I know all of that was directed at NorCal - then you go on to apply it to all gay people - and by association, also me. Why do you act so horribly towards gay people? NorCal is a strong, bold, confident gay person - many of the gay people who hear your words will not tell you about yourself - they will just accept the hurt as a fact of life. This sort of judgmental disgust towards a group of people is dreadful to witness.

Why do Christians act this way? Some people assume that Christians are especially nice - I know better.
