You may hear the Left-footer Catholic use titles like >>> Sovereign Pontiff, Vicar of Christ, Pope, Holy Father <<< towards mere men.

These titles rightfully belong to the Lord Jesus Christ and to God the Father not a man.

The term, >>> Holy Father <<< is used only once in the entire Bible, and it is used by Jesus in addressing God the Father.(John 17:11)

There is no single instance in the bible where any of the above titles are applied to a man still our Left-footers do not care and do as they please.

Catholics speak of >>> the primacy of Peter <<< and >>>the primacy of the Pope <<<

Col. 1:18, says, "And he is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the first-born from the dead; that in all things he may hold the primacy >>> " Thus, with reference to the authority in the church, the Lord Jesus Christ holds the primacy in all things. This leaves nothing for any Popes.

Luke 17:20-21 says, "And on being asked by the Pharisees,'When is the kingdom of God coming?' he answered and said to them, The kingdom of God comes unawares. Neither will they say,'Behold, here it is,' or 'Behold, there it is.' For behold the kingdom of God is within you." The kingdom of God is a spiritual kingdom and therefore needs only a spiritual head or king not any popes.

Left-footers often use the expression, "One fold and one shepherd" to sustain the doctrine of the papacy. They teach that the "one shepherd" is the Pope and the "one fold" represents the Catholic Church.

Hear what Jesus Christ said about it:

!!! "I am the good shepherd !!!

The good shepherd lays down his life for his sheep >>> I am the good shepherd <<<

I know mine and mine know me, even as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for my sheep. And other sheep I have that are not of this fold.

Them also I must bring and they shall hear my voice, and there shall be one fold and one shepherd." (John 10:11, 14-16).

>>> Jesus is that one good shepherd <<< N O T any P O P E !!!

Notice the following:

!!! Now there arose a dispute among them, which of them was reputed to be the greatest. But he said to them,'The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them, and they who exercise authority
over them are called Benefactors. But not so with you. On the contrary, let him who is greatest among you become as the youngest, and him who is chief as the servant.'" (Luke
22:24-26)!!!

The very truth that the apostles had an debate among themselves shows they did not understand that Peter was to be pope.

The argument was the night of the betrayal

>>>the last night of the Lord's earthly ministry<<<

Still the apostles did not understand that Jesus had given Peter a position of primacy.

The Lord settled the argument, not by stating that He had already made Peter a Pope, but by declaring that the Gentiles have their heads, "But not so with you." Thus, Jesus very plainly taught that no one would occupy any such place as a Pope to exercise authority over the others.

!!! Away with this false teaching of the Catholics !!!

In order to have us believe the nonsense of the power and position of a pope, catholics must first destroy our faith and trust in the scripture.

Mike does this by constantly saying sola scripture is asinine.

The enemies of Christ want to take away our power by destroying the power of the scripture. That is like a foreign power or even a power from within taking away our guns. Or, do it the easy way by convincing us we need to trust in them hoping we voluntarily turn them in.

Through Sola Scripture we learn that the power of God for forgiveness of sin is found at the cross not in the pope or Mary worship. The church has no power to forgive sin!

Dealing with Left-footers proves to be like stepping in a pile of dung. It stinks. They add their perverted history books to Godís word then throw them overtop of the bible saying the bible is good and they believe the bible but we have to go a step beyond Godís word and listen to what Rome says. Ha! Thatís most crazy and really these harlot worshipers are not worth the time of day given on the discussion board.

Sola Scriptura was invented by Martin Luther in the 16th century. Do you agree with everything he beleived

II have a new one to add to me my list. Sola Scriptura is equal to right to carry guns. Bobby keeps on giving.

The enemies of Christ want to take the authority of Church and create the mass confusion that exists in the protester world today. Satan has really done well with SS.

We point to history to show what the 1st Christians wrote and believed. YOu know what they were Catholics

Once again, the Church came first and the Church created the Bible. Not only did SS not exist for 1500 years, the Bible itself did not exist for 350 years after Jesus.

What does your Bible say about scripture. Profitable for teaching, right? By who? You are Bobby?

What nonsense.

The bible was used in parts way before 350. In fact as noted twice on her in Britain we have manuscripts never touched by the harlot. You can scream this till the cows come home but you not even your Church created the bible. The bible in parts was wide spread long before 350. Paul never pointed none to a Pope not to Peter either but to the word. He spoke of reading letters to the Church. You are so hung on history you are blinded to the truth of the word of God.

What nonsense.

You always leave out the power of the scripture and namely the power of the indwelling scripture to teach us.

As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit--just as it has taught you, remain in him.

Mike the scripture buries catholism as dead stuff.

The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.

To be deep in scripture is to cease being catholic.

Tradition and Vain Worship
Ö7'BUT IN VAIN DO THEY WORSHIP ME, TEACHING AS DOCTRINES THE PRECEPTS OF MEN.' 8"Neglecting the commandment of God, you hold to the tradition of men." 9He was also saying to them, "You are experts at setting aside the commandment of God in order to keep your tradition.Ö

Catholic tradition is asinine....

The pope was not an eye witness.

We were Eyewitnesses
Ö20But know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one's own interpretation, 21for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

Catholic tradition is written by mere men with no apostolic power.

For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of self-control.

Luke 10:16, That verse is a verse of authority and it is a verse of infallibility as well. It is a verse also of obedience for those who were sent. Now there are well over 38,000 non-Catholic sects, each with at least one preacher and all of them are preaching something different from one another. So, given the fact that there can be only one truth and with obedience to only one authority, which one of those tens of thousands is the model of obedience and has the authority and infallibility given to him or her by Jesus Christ?
Which one of the tens of thousands of them could lay claim to Luke 10:16?
"...and he who rejects you rejects me, and he who rejects me rejects him who sent me." What else could this part of Luke 10:16 mean other than to be applied to those who reject the teaching of His "Apostolos" and their successors through the one Church which He founded?
Are you rejecting God by 'hearing' yourself. Looks that way

I love that verse and every verse in the Bible.

St. Paul taught us,

'For the Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart'(Hebrews 4:12).

Before the Gospels are read, we make of the sign of the cross 3 times.

In the outward sign of crossing our forehead, lips, and heart, we are asking that the Word of God to pierce our mind, lips, and hearts.

We cross our forehead so that the Word of God may be in our thoughts and purify our minds. We cross our lips so that our speech may be holy and incline us to share the Gospel with others. And we cross our hearts to invite God to strengthen our love for Him and others. All of this is so that we might know, proclaim, and love Jesus Christ all the more.

So next time youíre at mass and the Gospel is about to be proclaimed pray that 'The word of God be ever in my mind, proclaimed by my lips, and pierce my heart leading me to deeper communion with you, Jesus.'

Lordy mercy how far do you go to see something that isnít there. Luke 10:16 is totally void of Catholic teaching and actually stands against any teaching outside of the Word of God. How ironic of you to cite bible verses that do not make your case.

I believe in every verse you quote. I just think you are merely a protester and I don't agree with what you think and I don't care what a protester thinks.

Jesus changed Simon's name to Rock , the first person in history to to have than name and said I will build my Church on you and give you the Keys to the Kingdom.

Do you know who received the keys to the kingdom when the King was not around. The Jews at that time knew exactly what he was talking about.

Where do you go on Sunday ( or Saturday) morning.
