Yeah that's why the NT and the Septuagint were written in Greek. Sorry old buddy old pal I just can't help it if I know more about this than you. Maybe if what you do on Sunday morning had any connection whatsoever to the practices of the early Christians I might reconsider but alas what you do and represent is a total fabrication. And that's really weird because the template is there for all to see and use yet you choose to look and sound like Baptists.
Im not your buddy and not your pal and but do care care that your so intelligent that you dont see the wisdom of God. I have always found that people that make great claims like you and belittle others and throw around curse words are immature and in need of something but not the pope or the RCC church. Their need is Christ and him crucified. Hope you find that in the future. By the way what you do when Mass occurs re-crucifies Christ each time and the Bible clearly states in Hebrews that Sacrifice was once and for all not to be redone by Humans but to only be remembered and memorialized. When you get that one right let me know.

So what you are really saying is that Baptists have it right. No wonder your church looks like a Baptist one inside and you sing all those Baptist hymns and get your little cups for Welchs at the Baptist bookstore.

No room in CofC churches for elders either so I hear.

If you preach Christ crucified, why are your crosses, if you have a one, empty?

You preach whatever you want to. No Authority.

Re-cruficy - Your ignorance is showing. You are one of those in John 6:66. I love that verse number.

2000 years old and still the apple of God's eye. He promised it will never fail, will be here until the end of ages, and that is the pillar and foundation of truth.

What does the he say about Protestantism?

"Has Christ been divided up?" 1Corinthians 1:13,

Where there is no GOD given authority, and a dispute between factions cannot be settled amicably, the factions of personal opinion split, creating yet more factions. This is precisely why Jesus Christ founded His one teaching Church and gave it the authority (Matthew 18:17-18) to settle disputes of which Scripture tells us were inevitable to arise (1Corinthians 11:19).

I love it when you go to a proof text yet claim that text is no proof???? But this text is.

11 For I have been informed concerning you, my brethren, by Chloes people, that there are quarrels among you. 12 Now I mean this, that each one of you is saying,I am of Paul, and I of Apollos, and I of Cephas, and I of Christ.

IF a group uses Peter as say their pope this would cause division such as was happening with this Church. Paul SAID PETER was not the POPE here. What do you say? WAS Paul wrong? OF COURSE not YOur wrong.

How could this church have been divided and still be the church??????? WAS this church not the Church?

Nothing you do at your little church on Sunday morning can be traced to the early Christians in spite of your claims. Nothing. It's just bizarre that you ignore history yet lap up Baptist rituals. During my time in the CofC I was continually struck by how empty, groundless and artificial it all was. I had never even been in a Baptist church so I didn't really know where all that ritual came from but I knew there was nothing like it in the Bible. After decades, I realized it was all phony and made of whole cloth by some bitter men who believed they alone were in possession of the "Truth" and who ignored the witness of centuries in the East and the West. You act as though Christianity was frozen in time in the first century but it was not. You choose as your model the Baptist church which was certainly not around in the first century.

If the Bible has it right, the CC has it right. She created the Bible.

Protestants contributed nothing to the the Holy Bible, but took away 7 books and misinterpreted it.

Read some history.

I am reading you right. The CC made the bible to what it is today, or are you saying because of a Roman Caesar, he dictated to the leaders which book stays and which book goes. Either way, I find this "pagan". Many books left out that should of been included. Enoch for one. It was to "far fetch", Mary Madalenge is another. Here's a question, Was she really jesus wife?

Now why on earth would I answer you? Seriously, I think you and Barnsweb are a match made in heaven. He belongs to a church with only one member and you could be his first disciple.

This is where folks started talking nonsense. I never said the bible is pagan, I said many folks do things that are pagan. Praying with Rosary beads is one of them, praying to statues inside a church and saying we are praying to who it represent, is pagan. All I did was ask a question, was Mary M jesus wife. Why is it people panic when ask if Jesus was ever married. He did confirm the law of Moses and Marriage. Remember, Jews back then believe that if you weren't married before a certain age, you were being punish by God. Or if you were married, and no children you were being punish by God.

So now you think Jesus had to be married because other Jews would have thought him to be punished.

I agree with Mark. You sound like BW.

Maybe this is BW acting like a Catholic but playing more ignorant about history than he normally is.

I am not saying that Jesus was married, but I am saying why would that change things with people. Why does this marriage thing with Jesus cause panic. One thing you are right about, jews did believe very much in marriage.
