I know Mike will bash the sermon but I hope he listens to it. It would do him good.

Over the last 40 years I have heard it all. Other protesters think McArther is a heretic.

Yes, you have a closed mind.

All cults are taught that they are the only true church and to step outside of it means they go to hell. However the catholics have absolutely zero confidence that they will make it heaven. Why? because their salvation depends entirely on their performance. It's like taking a test, you have to make a certain grade in order to pass, or you will have to purgatory and take the tect again and again until you get a passing grade.

God saves sinners-not the righteous.

Jesus Calls Levi
16When the scribes of the Pharisees saw that He was eating with the sinners and tax collectors, they said to His disciples, "Why is He eating and drinking with tax collectors and sinners?" 17And hearing this, Jesus said to them, "It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick; I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners."

Mike are you righteous????

Mike is right. Google "John MacArthur heretic". Website jesus-is-savior.com writes much about his heresy-which is hilarious because that website is probably one of the top three biggest heretics on the internet.

I'm not catholic but folks face the facts-protestants and evangelicals have credibility issues.

Why do you think I brought up the subject of a protestant hero before 1800?

There are none for low end protesters. Christianity exists for them in their own minds. They meet Jesus on their own terms.

Bobby admits he does meet Jesus with the Truth. It is impossible to know the truth according to him. Jesus will just have to be his personal savior no matter what.

Talk about spinning your wheels. Nobody knows the truth but they know when they are saved.

Asinine.

I have a closed mind to anything a protester has to say in the area of faith and morals, otherwise known as the way to salvation. They are like ravenous wolves.

I also have a closed mind to the ignorant quotes protesters use to say what the Church teaches. Go to the CCC and if you quote from that, then we can discuss. They are like ravenous wolves.

I know the exact way to salvation, because Jesus gave all authority to the Church he started. I hear Jesus because I hear the Church.

Whatever the Church binds on earth is bound in heaven.

No Bible ever mention by Jesus the Christ or his Apostles.

No NT scripture ever mentioned by Jesus. Only the Church led by Peter.

That is what happened in history. History existed.

That is why no low end prot can't pick out a Christian hero.

Were there any Christians between AD 100 and AD 1700 for low enders?

Where any two people discuss things, whether church, politics or which way the wing is blowing there are likely to be three or more answers to the same question.

Where you and I have our differences if not who is right or wrong but rather our source of information. Yours is the catechism, mine is the scripture. If we were both taking a history test in any given school, we would have to answer according to the source/books our instructor give us. We would then be on equal footing and our grades would be judged by our teacher.

I am taught by the scripture and have the Holy Spirit as both guide and teacher. You are taught by tradition (that it trumps scripture) and you deny that the Holy Spirit literally indwells you. Our differences are just that simple.

And before you respond, I am fully aware that that same principle applies to protestant churches. For example the old line coc mostly deny Holy Spirit indwelling along with a host of others. As for where barnsweb falls in. He has a background in coc mormon and and other heretics. What I am saying is that my theology is closer to yours than barnsweb. Each of the one true churches believe that all the others are lost.

You continue to lie . Has that been a personality trait that you have always had?

The Church is the pillar and foundation of truth right? Jesus started the Church right?

Jesus didnt write a Bible did he? The Church created the Bible.

The Bible + Tradition + the Magisterium = the Church which is the pillar and foundation of truth.

Every part of the Mass is taken from the Bible. Literally, the words are taken from the Bible, Every prayer and response.

It is THE Bible Church, both in creating it and using it in worship of God and the teaching of God's written word.

It takes the average person only 12 hours to read the entire NT. Jesus teaching ministry on this earth was for over 3 years.

I know he had to sleep but his ministry lasted over 26, 000 hours, yet the only thing that was written down was only 12 hours ? The Bible says not everything was written down doesnt it.

What happened to the rest of what he did for those 3 years. Tradition just like Paul taught. Not written down.

Bobby, keep believing in what you want. That.s what protesters do. I wouldn't keep blaspheming the Church though. I think up you have used up your Invincible Ignorance defense.

Keep posting though. You produce some great stuff. I will let them compare. 2000 years of Christian teaching from the greatest heroes in Christianity , against a few years from 1 single low end protester.

And to top it off, from a Catholic book. Bizarre. completely bizarre

This sounds like a person who is desperate and grasping for straws. I think the John MacArthur sermon really shook you up. The facts he put forth cannot be denied even by Catholics.

Did anyone notice what Mike just did, he does it all of the time? Where is Jesus in the Picture? He is the chief corner stone and the church is the called out of Christ. Where are the saints/born again followers of Christ in this picture?

Mike would have us believe the church is made of of two books, the pope and his bishops. Heck Mike is not even in that picture:-)

That is the way the catholic hierarchy works-the church belongs to them.

Your church may be built on Peter but from what I have seen it seems to be built upon Mary. The real church is built on Jesus (who is the cornerstone) and everyone knows a strong building must be built with a solid foundation. That is why the church of Jesus still stands. John MacArthur made the point that there has been no succession in the line of Popes with several periods without them so that would seem to be a problem because your church had not head a some point where the real church will always have a head and be able to stand. I guess it depends on what you build it upon. As Bobby mentioned the Catholics love to replace Jesus but rarely include him. The real church cannot do without him, big difference.

Go look in a Church and look in your building and look around.
