Police Officer Dies In Car Crash In N.J.

A Watchung police officer involved in a vehicle pursuit was killed Wednesday night when his cruiser crashed into a tree in North Plainfield.

You and your comments are shameless and in very poor taste. No person should wish this tragic fate upon anyone, whether or not you agree with them and their their views. Did you know this officer personally, and can confirm that he was a racist. I think not. You can't simply group a number of people together because of your opinions and you have no objective reason to classify this officer as a racist.

I suspect your comments were posted to solicit a response and an argument from another reader. I almost can't even justify a response because you are celebrating loss of life. I suspect that you have been in trouble with the law and that while this officer has been cited for his exemplary service and bravery, you are too much of a coward to be half the man he was. You owe this man, his town and colleagues, and his wife an apology.

Always sorry for the loss of an officer's life, but the Watchung PD is very good at picking out woman and foreigners in their speed and school bus traps. I've been stopped and amazed at how the officer totally lied in court. Stay out of Watchung.
