That's Earl the village idiot. He comments on every post in the Wytheville forum and seldom makes any sense. He does amuse himself however.

You haven't read my posts, have you?
I don't care: They don't deserve a tax exemption. They can have all limbs removed from battle, and I would not care.
I don't know who or what you are but I do know what you are not. You have no business even sharing the same air and space on this planet! So why don't you just jump your worthless and faggotty ass off the edge of good old planet earth and see who will save you.

A Virginia Property Tax Exemption for Veterans statewide ballot question is on the November 2, 2010 ballot in Virginia as an legislatively-referred constitutional amendment. The amendment will ask the voters of Virginia if they will approve or reject a property tax exemption for a armed forces veteran or their surviving spouse if the veteran had a 100 percent permanent and total disability related to military service.
The ballot question reads:
Shall the Constitution be amended to require the General Assembly to provide a real property tax exemption for the principal residence of a veteran, or his or her surviving spouse, if the veteran has a 100 percent service-connected, permanent, and total disability?
How will you vote on November 2nd?
What's Virginia got to do with anything that is happening in Georgia?

No. Disability is disability, and it shouldn't matter if it was connected to being in the military.
When you join the military, you have to expect to get hurt or killed. It's like being a cop: There is a danger, and YOU have to realize and accept that if you enter that profession.
I'm not the smartest person in the world, but I know a self entitled idiot when they post a comment. You have A LOT of learning to do.

If I have learning to do, then you must have flunked out of the first grade. This thread was started in 2010. The bill passed. It is now 2014.

This thread should've been taken down when the bill passed. Instead it's been a mating bed for idiots.

I'd almost agree with you, but retired from the military doesn't mean you are no longer in the military. My retirement from the Navy is contingent on my being willing to accept recall as needed. I do not receive retirement pay, I receive "reduced pay for reduced services." that's after receiving significantly less pay than my civilian counterparts received for equivalent responsibility for 28 years and being required to spend much of my life away from home and in harms way. In addition, if one has been retired with 100% disability they have paid their dues to society unlike the majority of Americans who give little and expect much.
Petsound wrote:
No. I don't kiss veteran's asses. Once they're retired from the military, they're normal citizens. I would gladly support people IN service having their taxes exempted, but not ones OUT of service.
