When are they going to start drilling in Lewisville?

One drilling permit has been issued in Lewisville -- to Chespeake Energy for an undeveloped area on the east side of town near the Camelot landfill. Drilling can begin there as soon as the company is ready to do so.

One other permit application has been received -- from Cherokee-Horn for an area near FM 407 and Bennett Lane -- and still is being processed by city staff.

No other applications have been received in Lewisville as of 2/17/2009.
