Hi Shirley, I had a great time upnorth. Fireworks Art shows, GREAT weather. Although Huron was a little cold. I visited Cedar Lake also, It was like bath water. Thanks for the Posting for the 4th.
Oscoda seemed quiet. Not many people around. Lake was quiet too. The Glens and Kmart had lots of Hershey bars. I figure is was slow everywhere. No traffis to speak of. The gas prices didn't stop me from enjoying myself.

Hey Rick. It's great that you had a good time during the 4th. Yes, it is pretty quiet here lately. I think the gas prices are keeping the tourists in check, so that leaves most likely the locals out and about here. But you say you still had a good time and that's the main thing. Come back again soon. Check in to see what will be going on labor day weekend. And if you have any special preferences on subject matter to read about, let me know and I will see whats out there to post here. Gotta keep ya coming back, LOL.
