I feel in love with the store the second i came in.
The entire staff is 100% helpful specialy casheers and deli staff because they will run around the store just to find one item you are looking for. The manager is amezing he saves people the trouble of getting prefferd card so he gives the sales to the whole commuinty and beyond. He is one dedicated guy

Tom, if that's the case, call the health department and your girlfriend should as well if there's any truth to what you're saying. I've been shopping there since I've lived in Bartlett and I guess I must have an iron stomach as I've yet to get food poisoning once.

This is a good clean store, everything checks out. All of the Bartlett Fresh Market Employees are very good workers and help customers when they need help. I have yet found an item that is expired or heard off any complaints of this store until now from bartlettTom. Lately I came in the store last week at night and walked in and saw three employees mopping the floor. They were keeping the floors nice and clean, every store should be like this. Also, all three off those employees warned me to watch my step, very concern for my safety. Bartlett Fresh Market is a good store, I advise you to shop there. Also BartlettTom might be right/might be wrong but I pass this store in my tests.

the store is fine. it has a good amount of things to choose from and is always clean and full of workers. The things people are saying are quite absurd, but again the store is no Jewel-Osco (and this plays for both some pros and cons for the BFM). Keep shopping there everyone, the place could use the revenue. The only sad thing is I heard that some workers who have even been employed for years are not making too much money per hour and even less than some people who have been working there less. I know someone who works there who tells me this and the store does not take responsibility to care for its responsible workers. But keep shopping there! and the revenue will be spread out

In all fairness the food here isnt very fresh, which is why my neighbors and I refer to this establishment as the Bartlett-Not So Fresh Market.

If you don't own a car and you live in downtown Bartlett, thsi place is your only option. If you want to save 40% on your grocery bill and have a huge selection go to Woodmans.

I hear that the village of Bartlett is going to cut a deal with the owner of the building and "THE VILLAGE OF BARTLETT" will pay the rent. Blue Ribbon was just open and remodeled already. Why the village will put Bartlett money at risk for a business that will never make it there??????

I've Been a loyal employee there for almost 3 years now, pay was bad, but I stuck it out, I got the job done everyday, than one day I get pushed into a wall by another employee for no reason and I get fired, the employee who pushed me was not fired!!! Does this make sense at all??? Working there is like a sweat shop, everyone gets treated poorly, if your not the son of the manager/owner or the managers/owners son in law than you are gonna get treated like shit!!! I recommend to all shoppers to check dates just in case, and feel sorry for the loyal employees, we get treated like shit!!! I have had alot of customers come in and ask for an item that we don't have in stock, it's disappointing to let down a customer down and tell them we don't have that in stock, save your time and go to Jewel you will never have that problem over there with them, am I saying not to shop here??? No shop here if you have to come in for a few items but, I don't recommend shopping here for your whole entire family, this store is horribly managed and runned, Bartlett Fresh Market 2 thumbs down, for employment and shopping....

Good Luck,

hard to believe this place is still open. was recently in there for a last minute purchase..

yikes - what the hell happened? it reminded me of grade school pictures of stores in russia. empty shelves, dated product, empty aisles. i suspect "another one bites the dust" soon for good old down town bartlett.

but darn it, bertau avenue, the road to nowhere, sure looks nice!

LOL, "Black Hawk Down." Its not too bad, the store makes it happen. it gets by... id agree with most except for the "sweatshop" analogy. untrue. sounds like some unfortunate events for you sir.

i think they make enough money. its just making that leap to taking a chance and maybe spending a little more than maybe a jew would and getting customers back into the store. maybe he should hire someone who specializes in getting places like that back into the mainstream... economy blah blah blah. hire a marketing genius or something... fill those shelves... and get this amazing store back in peoples' faces.

I used to like this store better. I don't go as much as I used to and will drive a little further to Ultra and Jewel. It is in serious need of some updating and refurbishing. Many empty shelves and I have seen plenty of outdated jars and canned goods. My husband still runs there because he never wants to drive far. It's fine for just running in for a few things or to get sale items. With the way the store looks lately and not much filling up the shelves, I have wondered if it was closing.
