Bartlett President Michael Kelly resigned Wednesday morning, the day after a board meeting where there was angry division between trustees over his late payment of property taxes, first reported in Sunday's Daily Herald.

Sorry to here of Mikes resigation.
I believe Mike to be a honest and good business man,family man and has Bartletts best interests in His heart.
Being in politics today is no cakewalk and I believe most people in todays economy find situations difficult at best .Lots of honest folks cant even find money for food much less pay there taxes on time.

You would think that he would of paid them on time with the kick back he got when the village overpaid for Villa Olivia.
All they had to do was wait a year, and when that place went bankrupt they could of bought for pennies on the dollar.
With all of the improvements that they want to make,
it will take the village 50 years to recoup what they paid for that garbage dump.
