Try being accountable

Thats nothing new for the Brtlesville PD and their ethics. SR. Silvers did the same thing... Another man Allegedly hung himself in the county with two broken wrists (wonder how that happened), Pugh attacked a man in the Lobby of the Bartlesville Police station (mystereously the tape disappeared before the Grand Jury investigation). No fear, Certain officers that had worked with the CIA know how to circumvent laws that are supposed to apply to all equally but DO NOT in Bartlesville. Welcome to the Washington County MAFIA! The Tulsa FBI are buddies with too many in the BVPD including drug addicts in Esser's Drug Task Force...I suppose someone has to supply their coke habbits.
Rear ended by cop

They are above the law here and think they are gods. I was rear ended by a cop here, that was running 70 mph in a 35 mph. And to top things off he was texting on his cell phone and never touched his brakes. He was driving the city's SUV and totaled it and my truck. Put me in the hospital a week and three surgery later, I am still seeing doctors for it the rest of my life because of this. There wasn't a thing done to this cop (Adam Duncan) he is still working at his job. On that day they made sure there was to cops in the ER telling the doctors thay wanted blood drawn on me right away, like I was a drunk or something. Never mind I was the one rear ended and there almost dead. They make sure things like this don't get in the paper or news too. And the tort laws in Oklahoma, make where they don't even have to pay all the bills.
ACCOUNTABLE

Absolutely! Oklahoma is mostly full of inbred criminals. If you want to be a criminal and get by with it that's the place to be. I think Rick Silvers did the same thing to a man walking along side the road. The man he hit with his patrol car in Bartlesville is paralized for life while he is still an officer. I think the Examiner Entertprise (newspaper) and CableVision is under legal fire right now as they have been biased in what they will print or run in the media arena due to their zealeous interaction with the City of Bartlesville and Washington County. The Bartlesville Mafia allows NO FREEDOM OF SPEACH without a biased censorship unlike your vitals on the front page if you get a speeding ticket.

So glad your excercising your freedom of speech that is protected by the police officers with thier lives! Although I am not pro-gov't, I realize that with EVERY profession in the world you have problem people that give the rest of the profession a bad name!

I would be interested in knowing how our freedom of speech is being protected by police officers lately, especially in view of the fact that the US is rapidly becoming a police state geared to control American citizens.

Let's not compliment or make excuses for these jerks regarding their bad behavior. They are just as accountable or more so than the average citizen.

Adam sounds like he should have his job, gun and his license to drive taken away. Guys like this shouldn't be cops. At least Barney wasn't a danger to the community at large.

My sympathies to you for happening to be the unfortunate person to be in his path and for your injuries that resulted. It's outrageous they were trying to pin some wrong doing on you. Figures though.

Maybe you should get a good lawyer...an out of town one however. In this town they stick together like glue.

I too am eager to hear how the police protect anything but their own including Freedom of Speech. If anything I am exercising freedom of speech granted to us by the constitution and is being whittled away at by all levels of government. It is NOT a Freedom of speech issue as much as an accountability issue. If Joe public acted in this same manor where would he be and for how long??? Evidently time and time again it is re-enforced (at least in Bartlesville)that the police are there to enforce the law (as long it is not on a friend, family member, mistress or city/county employee), not to obey it! The smoke and mirrors might have more impact on those who have not been victimized by them ...
