The Cities divestment plan for parks is a weak start but is a step in the right direction. Now we need to get the city out of the sanitation business for sure! and stop moving the train around. Can we at least put that ugly pink buffalo somewhere not so visible; by the train would work for me.
I was thinking one day about why the City is so littered with junk; so I followed a sanitation crew around for the day and found out exactly why. The crews drop it out of the cans onto the ground and never look back. If a can weighs more than 10 lbs it seems, they walk on by.
Trash is left by those men to stack up 4 ft high in places, and in other places if a beer can hit the street an ambulance would pick it up!
Oh, I have to mention this too. Who the hell put that $988.000 price tag on that $150.000 golf course on sunset? talk about divestment going good for somebody...wow

Good government starts locally doesn't it? If they were voted in, they can be voted out. Let's vote in people with integrity, which, the last I heard is still a highly valuable character trait.
