<quoted text>Well I don't know who you think you are but we all have the right to know who is speaking on behalf of us. I have never personally met the man but I do know what I have read and it scares the pee out of me. I am not the one that said he is 100% brain injured. You are being a know-it-all and need to get a new pair of big girl panties because you are acting way too big for the ones you have. My IQ is not on the table here, his is.
I think when the detractors are saying 100% brain injured they are speaking out of turn. I don't know Bennett's situation but I think what is being spoken of is a 100% disability due to a brain injury. It isn't a matter of a lesser IQ. It's a term used to define the injury. Can a 100% brain injury be an impairment? Yes. Does it mean that there is lower functioning than there was prior to the brain injury? Almost certainly. Does that mean he can't represent effectively? Not necessarily. I think he is too partial to certain causes. Bias even for a good cause is not a good thing.

Go back and read your post #97 and just see what you said, the person who answered your question never said he is 100% brain injured. I do know him and his IQ is very high...call him or go to his house and talk to him and decide for yourself if he is the right person to represent you...don't rely on a bunch of stuff you have read on the internet. How are you ever going to make a rational decision about a person if you don't take the time to get to know them?? I don't agree with all his ideas either, so I take the time to talk to him and give him my point of view, that's what we are supposed to do !!! And fyi, my panties fit just fine.

There are people in this state who are supporters of the open carry law, if you are not, then let him know. He welcomes the opinions of the people he represents. Posting anonymous comments on a forum is not the way to go about having your opinions considered by your State Representative.

Then maybe you should take your own advice and post your name! The way you talk I would say you must be kin to him.

I don't have to post my name on here to make my views known to him...I told you, I talk to him in person to do it. And believe me, a person does not have to be related to him to be able to talk to him. Saw him at a function a few weeks ago and he was talking to alot of different people, and as far as I know, not a one of them is 'kin' to him.

The enormous amount of hand-wringing over my right to have my stupidity shows just how shallow and uninformed I am.

My simple-minded distractions over my shallow life and other mundane and meaningless things I write is part of the reason Oklahoma is degraded by my presence....and the rest of the country is lucky I don't life there.

CIRCUS OF THE ABSURD

Why is the American culture able to so easily ignore me and my great wisdom? The same self-imposed king of the world mentality that I espouse shows that I lack common sense and do not embrace Christianity, more specifically the Roman Catholic Church.

It's very revealing when my knowledge of anything is shown to be nonexistent....although sometimes I'm misinformed, but at least most people could at least admit I'm superior in intellect. But could the average person, even a practicing Catholic, tell you that I'm also 400 pounds plus from eating too many communion wafers?

I, and indeed all of my many ID's am loud and outspoken when it comes to my issues. I guess speaking out about my wonderful self has never been an issue.

If I stopped using contraceptives everyone would have had a shit-fit. Napalm OK, hit me with it....birth control? HELL NO! Nobody has a right to tell me not to breed, though it would be a genetic anomaly.

Then there's the last 30 years of my gradual slide into dementia that the media is broadcasting, creating manufactured consent among the ignorant and uninformed. Ownership of intellect and even common sense by me is long over. 30 years of ignoring my superior intellect, thread poisoning and my vast knowledge by Topix users has made me very upset.

How can posters become so mis-informed and ignorant of the truth about me to think that I'm stupid and ignorant?

If this isn't absurd, I'd be interested in your idea of absurd. Remember, I'm smarter than the average bar.

Reel it in, Mr. Bennett. I appreciate your support of the right to bear arms. I appreciate your belief that Oklahomans should be able to protect themselves from those who would do them harm. I honor and respect your service to our country. But, in my opinion, you are becoming a bit irresponsible in your rhetoric. As one of the citizens you were chosen to represent, I must say that I disagree with a law that would allow anyone to openly carry a firearm without a permit. This is not 1880. It is 2011. Open-carry should simply be an extention of the policies of the concealed carry law. While I support the idea that a citizen may carry a pistol openly on their hip, I feel that there must be a legal mechanism in place that would guarantee (with legal documentation) that that person is responsible, sane, and law-abiding. Furthermore, raising your voice to you constituents while referencing your war kills is borderline fringey nut-like. I voted for you and plan to again. But please Sir, start looking back to the middle of the political spectrum again.

Does not. Reagan was Governor.

Reagan was governor of California and was the primary proponent of the 1968 Gun Act. He was disturbed that a radical group could march into California Capitol openly armed and he immediately began action to get open-carry banned and the 1968 Act was the culmination of Reagans effort to ban open-carry.

Reagan served two terms and 1975 was his last year as governor of California.

When I was a kid living in Okemah, all the farmers carried openly. It was no big deal & for some reason folks were real polite to one another.
