It is on purpose just as I said. Liberals have always worried conservatives would starve the beast and yet they are very close to bankrupting it. Regardless how it falls the poor will pay the price in suffering and the wealthy such as me will simply leave the country until the riots and slaughter are over with if I live long enough or even wanted to return.

That's one of the things that bothered me the most about some of the posts dusty used to put on this thread. He was smart enough to know better than some of his posted opinions. He knew the wealthy are the most mobile and can simply go where life is more hospitable. It's happening as we speak, look at those leaving France and why they are leaving France. Here in the states look at what is happening in California and why it is happening in California. Of course, dusty is also moving his family out of the country but he supported Obama knowing Obama would do exactly what he's doing. Dusty removes his children and grandchildren but supports the very person who damages the rest of America's children and grandchildren.

You and I made plans should this day happen. We have insulated ourselves from the suffering our fellow Americans will endured. This year will be worse than last year and 2014 the current suffering will only increase.

According to MoneyMatters foreign countries have been doing just what the US is doing by printing money it will hit worldwide and those in the know are telling investors this wallstreet bull market will majorly crash because it's a "false" bull market.

He appeared he was smarter than that but also appeared to a very bitter individual too. I could actually stay right here and weather the storm as well but have been pondering that very thought for a few month now. As long as I am up here at the lake, I am pretty safe away from the thuggery for now anyway. It is with great hope when mid-term comes around the liberals will get their ass shellacked like last mid-term election. If not then I am definitely out of here.

Yes, we have prepared and I hate it for those that did not vote for this nonsense but didn’t prepare and will suffer through it anyway. You can believe that this year will be very revealing about what lays ahead and 2014 will be a lot worse. If majority vote for liberals then as bad as it will be there will be many like me leave it and when the capital leaves this country it should fold pretty quick. Another thing that is certain is businesses will continue to move all employees above the 50 employee mark and above to part time below 29 hours a week to avoid paying healthcare on them.

That kind of increase of people on Obamacare to have to pay it all will collapse that nonsense under its own weight. Those in States that do not setup a State exchange will not be required to purchase from a Federal plan because that is not in the law, just State Exchanges. One way or another the Beast (the government) will Starve, either lack of funds or bankrupt but the days of the Great Liberal Giveaway are going to be short lived. Greece is a perfect example how that works, total chaos.

Great to hear from you and will chat with you again soon.

Best Regards

Are you aware that JP Morgan, in 1895, personally bailed out the US government?
Perhaps some should go back and learn a little history. The United States in 1893 slid into a deep depression. In 1895 they literally ran out of gold. Who stepped in and personally bailed out the government? JP Morgan.

He did it again in 1907 with John D. Rockefeller, who this time injected their personal capital to bail out the banks. And in 2008, JP Morgan Chase bought out Bear Sterns and then Washington Mutual before succumbing that they too might need a bailout themselves. Right now in the United States investors have well over 2 Trillion Dollars sitting on the sideline not to mention the Trillions off shore.

http://abcnews.go.com/Business/Economy/story...

Remember if the Government goes bankrupt the wealthy win as always. The progressives have always told poor people if the vote for them they would prosper and every time they say it, the rich just get richer. Not even this Damn Purple Lip Kenyan will take the wealth away from the wealthy, most smart one like me took our wealth out of reach of this socialist minded moron. The middle class that still have job pays, the poor get poorer while the unemployed middle class join them and the wealthy get wealthier, always has and always will. This game going on now is all politics and a game liberals will lose one way or the other.

Yes, I watched the discovery channel I think it was who did a documentary on JP Morgan and the Rockefellers so I was familiar with that historical fact. I was also familiar with WAMU and their financial mess. As far as the 16+ trillion in debt I think it's ridiculous to hyperventilate over 85 billion in cuts on spending because it really won't make that much difference in the debt. I think we need serious reduction in spending and long term budget to handle this huge debt.

Losing his wife was very tramatic for him I believe. When you lose someone you love and your helpless to prevent it the experience does change you. I know that from personal experience. He's angry and in pain. I hope he can come to terms and be grateful for having someone so very special in his life. Some people never experience that kind of love and companionship and his life has been enriched for having known her and married her. At least that is my take on it!

As far as our economy it's in shambles and to say anything else is delusional. Greece,Spain,Portugal,Italy all have terrible debt issues and today I read an article that Moody's is downgrading the United Kingdom so we are starting to see the trend spread. The Quanitative Easing which our fed implemented was a temp bandaid placed on a critically serious wounds. Cosmetically looks good but in reality is no help to the patient whose bleeding and in desperate need of antibotics and blood transfusion. It amazes me that the feds are still telling us we don't really have an inflation problem when groceries have double on most products and many are triple the price of 2008. Fuel prices are through the roof and my healthcare premiums are over double what I paid in 2009. As you know I made the decision to sell my business interest last year. I had an opportunity to make a good (not great)profit and so far they have retained all employees. But, I also know they will no doubt reconsider what payroll/insurance is costing them with additional requirements and if minimum wage is increased I know those who work in entrance level jobs will be cut. Jobs will be combined or automated to save on cost. That's the reality of it. They told me to drop in anytime but I made the decision that once the paperwork was finalized I was finished. I wish them well, I had a lot of blood, sweat and tears invested but it was time to let it go. My husband retired as well so we have been taking some small trips to visit friends and relatives in Kansas,Missouri and Florida.

Good to hear you are doing well. Please give my regards to your family.

Till next time :-)

Yes he's bitter but I hope he can come to terms and overcome bitterness. It lessens his remaining life and effects the other love ones who are helpless to ease his pain. He must overcome the loss. I'm speaking from personal experience and it's easier said than done. I wish him well.

Our country is in a serious financial situation. We have no money we are over our head in debt. The Chinese have hacked,stolen,pur-chased our technology in so many areas...and we are totally indebted to them. How stupid can Congress be? It's a matter of national security and Harry Reid,Nancy Pelosi and President Obama seem to be clueless. Our debt is killing us.

Last year I sold my business interest as I came to the conclusion I didn't want to be responsible for working with this terrible economy and try to keep everyone employeed full time. I'm a person who gets attached to those who have proven themselves honorable hard working people and I always kept them and their families interest part of my decision making. Might be why my company wasn't Forbes top 500, lol. But I slept with a clear conscience! Now I find myself from time to time wondering if the new suggested minimum wage goes into effect how many entrance level positions will be reduced or automated thereby cutting jobs. I know it's not my problem but in the past I was able to help several college kids make their way through school. It will be a new reality.

Today I read a article that Moody's is cutting credit worthiness of United Kingdom...and so it begans as the stronger countries begin to join the ranks of Portugal,Italy,Spain and Greece. U.S. has already been given a downgrade with additional credit cuts coming down the pike because of Congress's lack of budget. The increase cost of living that Americans are suffering with today and lack of jobs plus additional regulations on businesses for 2013 will only accelerate the downward spiral of the U.S. economy. ObamaCare is already not working and 2014 our economy will be in more serious condition with much more liabilities that must be paid in taxes. It's a recipe for disaster.

Anyway, enough of that, wishing you and yours the best as always. I'll drop in from time to time. Take care :)

I'm not drowning in debt. Neither is the country.

Don't piss on my leg and tell me it's raining. You're full of bull. USA lost it's credit rating for a very good reason and we will be downgraded again if we don't get our budget done.

Sure your wealthier now with a new cell phone and free healthcare. You have no debt because everything you have was given to you. But that type of life may suit you but bubba it's nothing to brag about!

I understand, happens to me all the time. I agree with your response. What Politicians are doing to our children and our grandchildren’s future is beyond criminal. Right now, they are stealing more than 100 million dollars from our children and our grandchildren every single hour of every single day. Sadly, most Americans don't even realize that all of this is by design. When the Federal Reserve system was created back in 1913, it was designed to get the U.S. government trapped in an endless spiral of debt. And it worked. Today, the U.S. national debt is now more than 5000 times larger than it was when the Federal Reserve was first created.

Our society has become addicted to debt, and that means that they have become addicted to slavery. America is not the "land of the free" any longer. The truth is that Americans are now the "land of the servants". Over the past 40 years, the total amount of debt owed in the United States (government, business, consumer, etc.) has grown from less than 2 trillion dollars to more than 55 trillion dollars. So who benefits from all of this? The ultra-wealthy and the international bankers make enormous profits by lending money to all the rest. According to a stunning report that was released last summer, the global elite have up to 32 trillion dollars stashed away in offshore tax havens around the globe.

The Elite basically control almost every Fortune 500 corporation. The amount of power and control that this gives them is hard to describe. New York City Mayor John F. Hylan said the following during a speech all the way back in 1922...

“The real menace of our Republic is the invisible government, which like a giant octopus sprawls its slimy legs over our cities, states and nation. To depart from mere generalizations, let me say that at the head of this octopus are the Rockefeller-Standard Oil interests and a small group of powerful banking houses generally referred to as the international bankers. The little coterie of powerful international bankers virtually run the United States government for their own selfish purposes. They practically control both parties, write political platforms, make catspaws of party leaders, use the leading men of private organizations, and resort to every device to place in nomination for high public office only such candidates as will be amenable to the dictates of corrupt big business.

These international bankers and Rockefeller-Standard Oil interests control the majority of the newspapers and magazines in this country. They use the columns of these papers to club into submission or drive out of office public officials who refuse to do the bidding of the powerful corrupt cliques which compose the invisible government. It operates under cover of a self-created screen and seizes our executive officers, legislative bodies, schools, courts, newspapers and every agency created for the public protection.”

David Rockefeller wrote the following in his 2003 book entitled "Memoirs"...

"For more than a century, ideological extremists at either end of the political spectrum have seized upon well-publicized incidents such as my encounter with Castro to attack the Rockefeller family for the inordinate influence they claim we wield over American political and economic institutions. Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as 'internationalists' and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure — one world, if you will. If that is the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it."

What the heck is this country's government think that it is Okay to hold this country's people HOSTAGE when the Obama and the other people can not get their crap together and come up with ways in the best interest of this country in getting a budget made? Does Dear old Obama even and the others run their household like they are running this country? Shame on the people that was given our (the people that voted them into office) trust to do what it takes to keep this country strong. If they actually let these budget cuts go thru March 1st they should be made to give up their salaries for the rest of their term. This also goes for Pres. Obama!
