Just curious how far it got in court and how long they have to spend time in prison for killing the grandmother/lovely teacher back in January?

thought her mom worked at Walmart..humm.. who cares about the parents, Not the parents fault in this mess.Just the kids wild doing for wanting more than they can earn for themselves is what got them into this trouble. So what is the update on this case?

I agree, the parents really have nothing to do with anything. The info about them was mentioned in the newspaper, so I wouldn't really say anyone is "in the know" LOL

In Hopefully justice will get served and they will both get some time to think about what they did...

I know lyndsey. Her mom does work at walmart. She threw that girl to the wolves and put a man above her daughter. Simply put her out on the street. Last I saw her two years ago she had nothing but the clothes on her back. I bought her some necessary items then lost touch. She has been raised in a very poor way but what she did was wrong and she will have to pay the price. My heart goes out to the family of the victim and also wish things were different for lyndsey

Yes that is true she was thrown out on the street and so her father did the same thing.M been married so many times and shows M only thinks of herself. She even threw Autumn out... telling Autumn there is no room for her to stay with her. That was sad. Did M mom do that to her makes u wonder. Autumn is better off with her grandparents in Copan.Lets hope Lyndsey really didn't do as they say she did.I have a feeling she was tricked into it or else something might happen to her.

Well I am in the family and unless you know what really happened everyone should keep their comments to theirself. Neither Autumn or Lyndsey was thrown out of the house and on the street. They both are very much loved by their family and I guess you would not know that unless you really know the family.

Well if you did know anything at all you would know that Lyndsey's mom did try to help her numerous times and Lyndsey kept running away cause she was 18 and an adult now and nobody could tell her what to do!! So no she wasn't thrown out to the wolves or kicked out we all love her and miss her.

You are dumb! Her mom did not put a man above Lyndsey, you can only tell someone something for so long before they don't care anymore, Lyndsey lefted cause she didn't want to follow the house rules cause she was 18 and "You can't tell me what to do". Things could of been different for Lyndsey if she would of listened to her mom, I think she was raised in the best way they knew how.

Lyndsey was never kicked out, chose to leave. She was always welcome to come home. She chose not too. And autumn was never told she couldn't live with her mom because there wasn't any room. In fact I believe she lives there now. So before you bad mouth peoplemake sure you really know the facts.

Lyndsey and Jacob killed a helpless lady who let them in her home and I really don't care what excuse you want to make for her.

Because she pled guilty, she is only getting 25 years where they both should be getting the death penalty.

You really ought to read her confession, it is quite disturbing.

Who_cares is right. There are a lot of people who didn't have the best childhood, but they don't go out and kill people. They just vow to be better than their parents were. The only blame goes on jake and lyndsey. They murdered her. Nobody else did.

Sad. Sure can tell who tells stories. Ty for the truth. Shame they hurt the old lady. Just glad the other grandparents didn't get killed too. Thanks for the updates. Don't want to see anyone hurt but when someone hurts someone the price is never good enough for the punishment.

This is utterly ridiculous Gibberous non-sense. Just because you think you know me or my family back in Poplar Bluff does not mean you get to go sticking your nose in my families business. I went to search for updates on the web and found this thread mentioning not only my sister Lyndsey but, another of my sisters Autumn and my 1st step-mother. My Step-mother and little sister had nothing to do with this mess. And my step-mother has never told my sisters that they weren't welcome to live at her home. In fact I tried to help talk her into going back home. It's really sad that if people back home aren't talking bad about someone then they aren't happy themselves. I really hate people on Topix and wish I never would have opened this page.
