I can't believe the number of "creatures of habit" when it comes to eating out. This HERD goes to Weezes like cows going to be milked. Just automatically. ONE slice of toast with breakfast (only place in the country that cheap), waitresses with the personality of a grape and people butt to butt. I have not been in 9 months and never will again. That and my tax money probably went for a home improvement for them.

I've been to both. I have seen bugs in nearly every place in town. Burger Hop's food is HANDS DOWN the best breakfast in town and the Philly Cheese steak sandwiches are as good as any in Philly. Weezes is small portions, indifferent help, toast not toasted and spending what they charged us for sales tax. Never mind the hassle they gave the other restaurant that was down the street from them, whining about the music, whining about the pedestal with the food in it to show a plate (under glass), complaining about the sign touching the sidewalk. I don't know what he's worried about the zombie class is convinced it's a great place and file in there everyday. If you are a zombie, follow that line of string you left yesterday to find your way back, if you want REALLY delicious food, cooked right go to Burger Hop or Eggbert's.

I forgot about catfish Tuesdays at Burger Hop (missed it this week). Excellent catfish, mostly white meat.

Refuse to eat at Weeze's again after their tax issues. In the past, I paid my bill, sales tax, and left a good tip. They decided to keep the sales tax for themselves. They might as well have stolen that cash from my wallet.
I totally agree. That's how I feel.

How does Montana Mike's not make this list. It is bad everytime we go there. Each time we say its our last, then several months down the road we think that maybe over times things have changed. Wrong! It happened again on Saturday. We didn't even make it past the salad. Huge chunk of dirt in it. If the salad isn't washed, what else is dirty? The time before we asked for no gravy on our tips, it comes with gravy, which happens. But how they fixed it is what disturbed me. They brought back what was obviously the same dish with the gravy removed by God knows what. Could have been a towel, could have been a wash rag for all I know. All that I know is that the bottom side of every piece still had gravy on it.

So, if the owner or manager of this horrible place is reading this; how can you possibly still be open? This is by far the worst place that I have ever ate at...

How long ago were you fired from there? We ate there tonight and have never had a bad meal there. Did you SAY something about your food? Or just get on here and whine?

No, the place was horrible. It has been horrible every single visit. It is simply the worst place that I have EVER ate at--and I am definitely not the only one who has had a bad experience there either.

So, you want to hear about my food:

The last time I was there I had a huge chunk of dirt in my salad. The rolls were overcooked to the point that they were rock hard on top.

The time before they "fixed" their mistake by wiping gravy off something that was ordered no rice and gravy. Recook the damn thing the right way.

The time before they gave us a pink "well done" steak and an ice cold "medium" steak that soaked the plate in blood. They "fixed" that by charring both steaks to death over the coarse of 30 minutes.

One time the people next to us found a Starburst wrapper in their food.

Our first time we wen't there we had to wait almost 30 minutes to be seated--only to be seated in a half-empty restaurant. I'm not sure what the hell happened there.

I cannot even keep count of how many times we have had our order put in wrong because a certain waitress refuses to use a paper and pen.

These things really did happen. I'm not here to just whine, I would like to see some real changes so that my family could actually enjoy a meal there for once. I don't have these problems at Chili's, Garfield's, Buffalo Wild Wings, the Rib Crib, Mazzio's, etc. Those places usually get the order right, are clean, have good service, and the food is cooked properly.

I have to agree about Montana Mike's at times. Sometimes it's good at other times it's the pitts.
Family group went there. We were told earlier that no reservation can be made. We must arrive and let them know we were there. Our name would be put on the list of those waiting for a table. Another group about the size of ours arrived and they were seated immediately. We waited and waited. They had to be reminded that we were waiting after a while ( a long while later ). One person in our group only ordered a cold salad. She got her salad long after all the other orders were placed before us. I might add that the spaces of time before each order was like they were only using one burner of a stove. We could not wait to eat at the same time or our hot food would be cold. Service was the worst that I have ever seen. There is no consistency with their service or the food. On a good day their food compares to other good places in Bartlesville. On other days it compares to the bad places in Bartlesville. If you get a waiter who does not understand English, which has happened to us, it is not good !

A. Why did you go back so many times if it stunk? AGIN, did you say anything to the manager?

If I get a wait staff who doesn't understand english I NEVER go back and tell them why before leaving. This is America, they assimilate we do not have to.

First, we went back because it had been anywhere from 6 months to a year. It is hard to completely give up a place that used to be so good. We want it to be better.

Second, I've contacted the part owner twice. On the first occasion he said that they were going through some difficult changes and that it would definitely get better. I called him again after the last visit and he seemed disinterested with the notion that his restaurant has gone downhill. Trust me, when your owner has given up you cannot get any better.

Because of this, the only way that I could possibly see going back would be if the ownership changed.

Trust me, this isn't just a person out there whining or bashing because he didn't get his way. I want the place to be as good as some of the other places in Bartlesville--or simply in the ballpark of tolerable at the least.

I never complain in person..........I'm well aware of what happens to the food if you do that. A nice letter works better for them and me. I never sign it with my name either. Wait staff changes jobs and you may run into them in another place. Some of them will remember your face so be prepared !
