Um..you do realize it is a 1912 test?
Did you fail the 8th grade because of a lack of reading comprehension?
Perhaps there's something you don't yet realize about Pike county Yelp. The thing is, it's STILL 1912 in Pike county. They didn't realize the Titanic sank that year until some of them made it to Lexington back in 1996 and saw the movie. LOL!!!

was lot things them days that did not add up just like today.try this math problem out back in the times it was a written problem... 3 men went to a motel got a room ,they paid 10$ a piece for their room that made 30$ so the owner said he charged to much,so he sent his boy back with 5$ to give back to the men now we know he kept 25 for his self and the 5 he sent back with the boy made 30. ok now the boy said this is to hard to split up ,so he gave each man a dollar that was 3 and he kept 2$ so each man then had paid 9$ for the room .so 3 nines are 27$ the 2$ the boy kept made 29.where did the other dollar go?

You don't have to use FB to get there - go check it out at the Bullitt County Historical Society and/or Museum webpage!

These exams are actually pretty difficult for many since they are focused on what was important to learn then.

Landlord kept 25$. Boy kept 2$. This gives the total spent by the 3 men. Which is 25$+2$=27$ for your 9$ cost per room and each man still had 1$ for a coke. Which is 3 men by 1$ for a total of 3$.
Add everything you have 30$ and all monies accounted for in this problem.
