Too bad the cowards that took her have not yet been found. To them I say "karma".

Very good news! I bet the thieves let her go when they realized how much it was going to cost to feed her!

Finally, a nice story for once.

who cares........what a waste of space in a newspaper and a web site

My dog recently switched to Tender Heart in Gardner. Unbeknownst to me, I adopted a very sick dog from the humane society and needed to find a good vet. The team at Tender Heart has been terrific. I don't know what we'd do without them!

Seriously, we need surveillance cameras at the animal control facility??? Last spring I needed help with a stray mother cat and her three kittens, and Eula Bradley was magnificent in helping me trap and remove them from under my camp. A week later, I called to report another stray (the father,) and was told they no longer provide service for cats. If there isn't enough money in the town's budget to shelter and place stray cats, where are they going to find the money for camera equipment and monitoring?

It is so nice to see a "happy ending" for an animal who needed help. I think it is great that they informed the public she has been found. I 100% agree that these animal facilities need cameras for monitoring. I feel that we need stricter penalties for those who abuse animals. Animals cannot speak for themselves. They don't have the chance to tell a teacher or anyone else that they need help.

i am happy that you got your dog back

Oh, Riley... It's refreshing to read a good story for a change, isn't it. Most are tired of the same depressing endings. A little space for good news doesn't hurt, does it. But I guess you are one of the many just looking to be negative. Good Luck Bella. |
