I honestly don't see any defense to shooting this lady,on drugs or not. Drug seller or not. She was a ford employee i believ. In this instance he could have shut the door, not answered.called police 911 etc.there were many options available .guns r used as last resort.any half way sensible person knew this lady was of no danger This lady wwas not armed. I feel he should take a plea and save a trial. His lawyers really r giving false hope here.

What would you spend to keep your freedom long term? Ted is willing to spend everything he has rather than spend his life in prison. There is no shortage of lawyers who will take the money and go to lunch with the prosecutor after your sentencing. Everyone has the right to be represented. Sometimes a technical defense can work. It just takes one juror to hang it up.

The defense is always going to shoot for the moon. Ted has little going for him as far as his actions. Therefore, the objective is to attack the victim based upon past activities. Generally that won't be admitted unless the prosecution brings up something related-and they won't.

And no matter what sentence, if any comes out of this,he can definitely be sued in civil court .this requires less preponderance of evidence i believe. That's a fact jack!
