I find it to be very imposing by people, to tell a chain eating establishment what they can and can not do with their business..I would tell all of you to kiss off..When people have businesses,it's up to them how to run it,not a bunch of cry babies!! If you do not like the food at McDonalds go home to eat or somewhere, where they do serve your food!

muslims do not deserve special consideration on any grounds.

Consider that if you try to change or challenge anything in a muslim country the muslim population will rise up and destroy you as an affront to the religion and the way of life.

when in Detroit do as the citizens of Detroit do or if you can't or if our customs offend you then go back home to your third world living conditions.

we did not invite you here to America and we don't need or want your extreme narrow interpretation of how life should be lived.

we don't bomb markets in the name of religion killing woman children shopping for food as the enlighten muslims do.

you should be ashamed to be a muslim.

that's exactly the point. McDonalds OFFERED it to Muslims because they want their business. To falsely advertise that it's halal and it isn't is absolutely ridiculous. You wouldn't be complaining if a little girl who's allergic to gluten ordered an advertised gluten free happy meal and later got sick. Same rules apply, do they not? Are you only upset because it's a MUSLIM?

No, it's not the same. Lying about "health" or "allergic" related food differs than "preferred" food due to religious beliefs. Overall, I would agree lying is unethical and unacceptable, but there's no harm to a person if they "think" their food was blessed compared to something which can kill.

Bottom line, I don't support special favors for anyone based on personal preference. McDonalds is a worldwide multi-billion dollar chain. Though, even as a small independent retailer or food service, I wouldn't give a damn about any special group including Muslims. If they don't like it, go somewhere else.

I also see it as EXACTLY the same. It can be a health issue for some in terms of stress. You don't see it because you don't hold those views. It is meaningless to you, so you would readily cheat customers or just blow them off. You may not be in a proprietary position where customers are important. Those who are understand the contract that occurs between advertisement and customer. The simple fact is that McDonalds acknowledges they were wrong and wants to settle.

What I don't understand is why, when our Mohammedan and Jewish friends dine in restaurants that fry the body parts of hog corpses, they are perfectly happy to breathe the air, even though that air is saturated with fumes that result from frying those body parts.

For years we were all forced to breath second hand tobacco smoke in bars and restaurants, bowling alleys and everything else. It's really pulmonary rape if you think about it. We also have to bear the stench of fellow citizens while shopping at Walmart or any store. I never understood these things either. Such are the mysteries of life.

I agree. Tobacco can rightly be described as an "entry drug" that is used to addict Big Government politicians to increased Government control and ever increasing taxes.

Since Big Government politicians began the war against decent women and men who use tobacco products - using the so-called "Kick 'em in the rear so hard they say THANK YOU! for not kicking any harder" tactic, millions of hysterics who Big Government frightened into refraining from the simple pleasure of enjoying tobacco products are simply dropping dead. Just as before Big Government started the war, non-tobacco users begin dying around age 40. Non-tobacco use is such a needless and tragic waste.

Perhaps it's due to the fact I'm not a weak liberal who'll whine when he doesn't get his way. You apparently perceive my lack of concern as a means I will cheat. How presumptuous of you. Since you think you know me so well, what else can you tell me about my character?

Of course McDonalds was wrong, they lied. Apparently, the statement "lying is unethical and unacceptable" doesn't adhere to you. I simply stated I wouldn't cater to groups who require special wants. But of course, I'm still a cheater (rolls eyes).

I don't know what's in your heart. All I see is that you object to people negotiating a settlement for clear wrong doing like they should sit back and enjoy the ride.

Then you clearly miss the point.

I object to people expecting special favors due to their beliefs. I stated it clearly, yet it went over your head.

Expecting honesty and your rights is not a special favor. MCDonalds made the offer. It was not demanded. Nobody held a gun to their heads. Yes, your concepts are way over my head and gladly so.

When I was younger, I worked as a waitress. Very often muslims would come in and be seated in my section. They were always rude, messy and demanding. After a while, I took to surreptitiously placing strips of bacon or ham in all of their entree's. There is no telling how many of those savages I sent to hell. As an American, I do what I can.

muslim deserve the same lack of respect they show to chirstians, jews and other non muslims in the middle east.

They treat outsiders with disrespect they get none from me.

Until muslims start acting like members of the human race with open tolerance acceptance of others
they should be shunned deported sent back to their third world dirt floor huts and camels.

even Allah would be ashamed if she saw what muslims are doing in the world.
